  1. Hi all,

Ok lets get down and dirty here what lube do you use,

I have been looking around for the best lube for chains and springs and well everything that needs it for my ybr125. After work one day i took my self to the great halfords and started looking at what they had, i was a little confused.

So me being me i asked a few members of staff to come over so i can get a some different views, after about 10 mins i left with some Castrol LM Grease now before using it i wanted to google my new buy to see if there is any down sides or if its going to blow up when i get to 30 mph.

So after a few hrs i couldn't find more than 1 post to do with chains. so my question is, is this lube the lube for me? and even if its not the best will it do the job?

Cheers for any help in advance and lets keep it clean ;)

  3. Hi,

i am a new rider to but have had a similar problem myself, when coming to an abrupt stop if i go from say 4th to 1st gear it sticks in neutral and i have to play around with the clutch for a second or two, i have found that releasing the clutch at 2nd gear then dropping to first sorted out my neutral problem.

also with the setting off i have a problem going from 1st to 2nd (fast) its not that i am not kicking the gearleaver up hard enough its just not going into 2nd untill i re release the clutch only happens once every few days

i am getting my first service on wednesday as i have done over 600 miles (704) so i will have a word with my dealer

hope this non technical crap helps lol
