    Depends what you wanna do. If you wanna bring the seat height up then jack up is the best way and the quickest way. Put shorter dogbones on it - about £15 they are. DONT lower the front end it will throw the whole bike out. My bandit has straight bars on it and the back jacked right up.

    Another way is to chop the subframe off, cut it down and weld it back on - or put another subframe on it. Our GSXR project has a cut down R1 subframe on it.

  2. I am streedtfighting a 1991 FZR 600. I am putting streight bars on and need to ulter the ride height.

    Does anyone know which is the best way to do this would it be to jack the back suspension or lower the front end.

  3. ok all ,,,,,,,, fixed all that need fixing from failed mot sprayed the lowers and all fitted so nearly there just need to mot and tax now and i can use will need to do a few bits , r1 undertray change leavers and mirrors and it will prob continune on after that.............................

    Think the green makes it stand out, would not think it a FZR tho

    Still have not decided what colour to do mine yet, waiting for rear seat unit to come first.

  4. hi m8 google heaths fzr it will tell u how to fit a thundercat tank ( easy ) and tell u how to fit the r6 seat unit i have done this to mine but used a r1 seat unit wasnt to hard . check out the gallery and your find mine.............................. if u need help just e mail me,

  5. The early R6 and R1 seat units fit the YZF750 with minor mods so should work on the FZR600 as the bodywork is interchangeable between the two.

    Am new to this club

    I have got a 1991 FZR600 Genusis, i am trying to streetfighter. I am trying to change the rear seat unit,

    Would anybody no what ones will fit straight on.
