hi there,
i am currently riding a 50cc bike and im starting to think about changing to a 125 when im 17 (this september)
ive heard lotsa weird stories about what to do so i thought i better ask.
can i just buy a 125 when im 17 and ride it on my CBT? (which still hass a year left)
do i have to do a course to ride a 125 for 2 years and then i get my full bike license?
many thanks
jack.
im not sure on the age side of it but im sure that cbt covers 125cc with L plates and carrying no passengers
i also thought you could do direct access now but have to ride restricted bikes until you 21 then you can move up to bigger bikes
best to check for sure but if you can id get it done b4 october as all the tests are changing and going to become alot harder
good luck with it all

A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in our country.
Well, there's a very simple answer.
Nobody bothered to check the oil.
We just didn't know we were getting low.
The reason for that is purely geographical.
Our OIL is located in The North Sea
Our DIPSTICKS are located in Westminster!!!
haha very good
before i got to the bottom i was blaming my car shes a drinker

you guys must have some suggestions
dealer down the road had a carbon fibre can with removable baffle
he said they were quite popular but cant decide

i hate modifications!the more u touch ur bike, change this, replace that blah blah blah,it looses its originality thats wer the beauty comes from.plus it looks cheap and its so trying hard man!!!that is sad...why buy that bike if ur thinking of changing the bloody engine,THIS AND THAT.duhhh!if u want more power get a bigger bike!by the way im talking bout "people who own r125 aiight.."
cant wait to get mine this end of june...
think we can safely say your on your own lol

ok ok so i have finally given in to temptation
and am now looking at my options for a new can
i have an 08 R6 and would like to hear what you
lot recommend
cheers all

i think adding mods to the bike does personalise it
im torn between to two of you
i love the look of my new bike i dont even want to spoil the look with
crash bungs let alone change the paint work
however when you see a bike with no mods you dont look twice
when you see something personised (bandit in kaw green for eg) you really turn your head
and thats what its all about
loving the colour scheme on both ya bikes

(small plates can still be read by ANPS Readers if they are in the correct format).
excuse my ignorance ANPS ???????

cheers all
the 5x7 plates are on order
just need to get the tail tidy sorted and some indicators
totally new to this so keen for hints n tips
-
Hmmm, hopefully they would just give you a warning and tell you to change it, probably with a £30 fine id imagine.
Points is a bit harsh for 1st offence but you never know.
For the record i have a 5x7 plate with normal letters and havent had any trouble so far (touch wood) even with the fuzz behind me
well thats all i thought it was but when a couple of people told me i would get points it put me of
i suppose even the fine would depend if the coppers wife gave it up the night before

hi all
recently friends and others have given me a mix of answers to the below question

fine me with a lecture
or
will i get 3 points on my license
id appreciate your help people
thanks
