    have you learnt any new things on it? :D

    I learned that if you do a seat stander and drop it dont try and bent the clutch back into place with your bare hand...

    it leads to fractured bones ;)

    and I learned to do a seat stander :D :D

    Now ...see what happens when you copy another and it is the same...it dosnt stand out from the millions of others...thankfully there is only 1 bike with my union jack weirdness....

    I believe in personal expression..

    my bike looks nothing like it did when I got it..

    and im proud of it..

    I have people all the time say things like "what kind of bike is that" "DUDE~! thats so cool"

    not to boast or anything :D :D :D

    man oh man ..

    On Craigs list the other day there was an R1 for 2000$ bucks!!?!?!?

    I do get a discount but I dont want a new one.. I want something used so I can put money into it and not be piled on with bills..

    plus old school bikes are awesome and better then the new ones.. cause everyone has a new one..

    Why do you say not even worth that? I paid 500.00 for mine when I bought it and it didnt run at all!! I have seen these bike go for 600 or so not running? I mean we all know they have potential. I did talk to the guy he said he would accept 450.00 doesnt sound bad to me. I dunno

    I wouldnt pay for something not working .. unless I knew that I could get it going and afford it all in all..

    we have a motorcycle graveyard here in my town.. everything ..if you can grab it you can have it.

    maybe I just would rather do that then pay for it..

    but thats just me

    i hate modifications!the more u touch ur bike,change this,replace that blah blah blah,it looses its originality thats wer the beauty comes from.plus it looks cheap and its so trying hard man!!!that is sad...why buy that bike if ur thinking of changing the bloody engine,THIS AND THAT.duhhh!if u want more power get a bigger bike!by the way im talking bout "people who own r125 aiight.."

    cant wait to get mine this end of june...

    changing up your bike makes it WAY more full of originality and your own style then leaving it..

    you dont buy a house just to leave it empty and plain.. you make it your own.

    not eveyone wants to go down the road and see someone else with there exact same bike to the T.

    thats not original at all. :blink: :blink:

    Hello

    Any one done any performance mods to a 2006 Yamaha xt250

    I read an article somewhere where they removed the puny exhaust tip - but ours seems to be welded in - must be for compliance purposes.

    Anyway interested in seeing if these little bikes can be improved.

    I removed the whole baffle out of mine.. its just one little screw down at the tip of the exhaust

    it sounds more weed wacker esk..

    but I can deff. tell a difference in performance.. it is a little more touchy.

    other then that I covered it with silver flames.. and well everyone knows that flames automatically make you go faster.

    Well thats not Strictly true..

    Im not a Newbie to the motorbike.. ive just been 'away'thats all. :D

    But i am a newbie to the Yamaha.being a former H**da and S***ki owner i'd thought id try something different, hence my posting on the streetbike thread about getting an XJ.

    Anyhoo.. im 36, male and just got the bike bug back after 17 years plus, after touring in Laos on a H**da Baja 250.which was nice...

    if you want somethin sporty and fast get ya self an r6 you cant go wrong.

    true.. and I love the R6 look..

    problem is finding one in my price range..

    I sit next to the new ones all day at work..

    I love them..

    if I can find one used and resonably priced then bingo!

    Yeah that vinyl stuffs great. Might give it a go on one of my otha machines. My yellow multicolour job is paint not vinyl....Have to have a lot of patience to do it with paint.... :blink:

    Honestly, smart machine..fancy having a dabble with one of mine, it needs some artistic imput.

    hahah im a prev too dont worry.

    but its actually not even a paint job its all sticker..

    its that vinyl 12 year stuff they make it in all different colors I think im gonna do my next bike black with hot pink flames..

    check it out im sure they have mass tons you can buy online and its crap tons cheep

    its a freaking blastie blast to ride..

    wheelies are a little tough you really gotta get it in the high rmps.

    but other then that its awesome..

    and sounds even better now that I took the baffle out :lol:
