  1. Ok had a look at my rear end (the bike!) today and the back end was really soft as said above. It turns out that the rebound was set at it's softest so I adjusted it to just past the standard making it harder rebound and now it has lots more confidence in it. Haven't touched anything else though. To be honest I need to learn what a bike is actually doing in a corner (I mean suspenion wise) and how much it needs to crouch etc so that I can understand what making it softer or tighter would do to it etc.

Yeah I reckon the BT-014's are the ones I'll go for I have been advised to try wait it out till at least another month for when the better weather comes in as I have a little bit of life on my current tyres so will wait one montht hen change them,

  2. Does anyone know how I should set my thundercat up for best handling?

It seems abit soft (I know they are soft at the back standard) but it would be nice to hear from anyone who has a good set-up on the thundercat or if anyone has any suggestions. cheers

Oh the back end does'nt feel so confident whats the best thing to do to make it abit better?

  3. OK i have had two

Once I was pulling up to work doing a nice bit of slow riding on my Cat and just as I was about to stop I see an orange so tried to avoid it but realised I was only going about 2 MPH and turned to fast and lost balance.......lol no damage done though.

Second was riding to work this january on a snowy morning. The roads where fine and I got to work fine untill I hit the car park which was covered so I thought right take my time but before I knew it the back wheel was stepping out my foot had slipped when trying to catch it and it went down but it landed on my brake lever snapping the bloody thing off!........lol

Once my mate was sitting on the back of his bike facing the back with his feet on the pegs and it started falling and he just sat there wit it falling over was funny as hell.

  4. Not easily but it fits just got to make sure you can get it under the points where the seat click into. Mind thats with out the u-lock in but I do have the tool kit in as well as the chain and lock.

  5. Hello I am also a Happy thundercat owner!

Like you say the U-lock goes in one bit and the oblong bit is where the lock part of the u-lock goes!

I also don't have a U-lock but on my front hugger it looks like someone has tried to move the bike with one on and cracked the front hugger, the same thing has happened with my brothers!

I store a chain in there now.

  6. Glad you got the bike back mate!

It pisses me off so much thinking about scum like that!

It annoys me when you think you can't do anything to stop ppl if you caught them stealing it! Mind I don't think I would be able to stop myself going up to them and kicking the crap out of them!

  7. There are many BHP figures floating about for the YZF600 all I know is the thundercat is somewhere around the 95/96 BHP not sure though.

My thundercat goes well anyway thats all that matters......lol
