  1. Wouldn't recommend it to be honest. Your best shot would be to remove the snorkel from the stock airbox which allows more air flow but not so much that it melts the piston.

    Agreed,a guy on another forum fitted a k and n filter to his dt and 3 weeks later his bike was fooked,ive heard that if you do the snorkel mod with the dep exahust system too you will defo have to rejet up to a 260 main jet.

Nope it dosnt make any difference,its touching where the pipe curls under the frame,i cant put washers where the pipe joins the bike as the pipe would then blow but tried everywhere else and it made no difference,will it be ok or will it cause any major problems?? im hoping it wont be on there too long as i plan on getting a new front pipe when money allows.

  3. The exhaust should clear the frame and everything else.

    I think your m,otor is going to run very lean and hot. You might also need to change the spark plug.

    Hi yoda,i know it should clear the frame but for some reason this one dosnt,its only touching the left hand side at the bottom but i was worried that it might cause a problem,will it???? i thought it might heat up and burn a hole in the exhaust??

    I bought the front pipe off of a mate for only £20,its a bit rusty but has no holes or dents,im going to sand it down and spray it with some silver vht paint,its only a temp thing untill i can save for a new front pipe.

Tried my bike out today on an army test track near where i live and WOW she sure does fly LOL there was no splutter and the temp was good (stayed below half way) i have lost some of the bottom end but it coped with the muddy stuff good enough for me,on the tarmak part of the track i got it up to 70mph but then ran out of road,i think its cappable of alot more as i was only in 5th and halfway through the revs at about 6k,ive still got the rest of 5th and 6th to go,the only downside to it is at first its hard to stay out of the red LOL as soon as you hit around 7/8k it flies like buggery strait into the red.If my temp starts to get high then i will get the 240 jet in her but it seems to be fine,and to all the younens reading this i dont advise you doing this on a public road,i was on a private test track.

  5. Im getting a full dep system for my 94 dtr 125 and i want to upgrade my main jet to aid performance,should i go for a 250 or a 260 main jet??? Also where can i order one from??? could someone please post a link of a website where i can order one,ive looked but cant find one?? Thanks syks
