Hello guys, I bought a 2006 MT-03 a month ago and am generally happy with the performance, however I have noticed a small rusty hole in what seems to be an air induction system pipe (pic attached). Can anybody tell me what impact on performance can this cause and if the replacement is necessary? I am sometimes experiencing difficulties with starting the engine (both cold and warm) which can sometimes take 2-3 rounds of ~3sec starter spinning before the engine fires up, perhaps this may be linked? Hello, I am the lucky owner of a Yamaha XT 660X from 2004. Unfortunately, I discovered some months ago a crack in the outer tube of the fork (right). It is located where the two screws are. You can find two pictures there: https://postimg.cc/gallery/Z4sqvLQ. The crack is also present between the two screws (not visible on the pictures). According to several forums, it would be a known problem of the Yamaha XT 660X, at least of this version. Yamaha is out of stock of this part and they are not producing it any more. Good day. First of i hope i am in the right place mods feel free to move it otherewise. So i recently bought a xsr900 from 2016. It has run for 2000 miles. The last 124 miles i have bin notecing a new vibration. It starts at 5k and enda att about 6k rpms. It is noticable in the handlebars and fotpegs but alot more in the fotpegs. The vibrations are Still there egen i have it in neutral with/without the clutch engaged. Its getting to a point where My feet är loosing feeling. So has anyone hade a similar problem or know what might caus it ? Best regards

I'm having a problem finding the intake valve for this bike I'm repairing a2003 model, well the reg is a 53 plate every part that I find say is it suitable for 2001-2002 and 2004 but I can't find a part with 2003 does anyone know if this has a different valve?!

Does anyone know (a) how to successfully get the metal caps out (immediately under the retaining circlip, removed with difficulty) without destroying them- mine are rusted in? or (b) where I can get new caps and O rings under? My present plan is to gently heat the top of the fork to help ease them out. Thanks, Hugh

Been off the road for a couple of years as I bought a Triumph Sprint GT , not that I have used that much due to ill health shortly after purchase. I use a pair of DTR 125 carbs they are 28mm flat slide mikuni TM. The throttle slide needles could do with replacing so I bought a couple of repair kits and it turned out that the throttle needles in the repair kits are way shorter than the original. Been on the Fowlers site and genuine Yamaha is £75 each 🙃 Allens performance do not stock them or get them as apparently they were made by Mikuni especially for Yamaha. Would anybody know what repair kit year I need to get or anywhere that can supply the throttle needles aftermarket or genuine at sensible prices. Thanks

Hello, I am looking to replace blocked injector on my YBR125 (2007 model). It appears that YBR125 injector is far more expensive compared to YZF125 or WR125. Could anyone please help me with the following: 1. What is the flow rate of original injector fitted in ybr125 (2007)? 2. Can I use slightly higher flow rate injector? 3. Are YZF or other Yamaha 125 injectors (with two pin connection that look same as ybr125 injector) actually same in physical dimension? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, looking for some assistance. I have a ys125, and recently I have noticed that my gear/neutral indicator is completely blank. Gears still going in normally, it just doesn't doesn't show on the screen. I had this issue happen once, and I was told that a piece got stuck. I was hoping I can attempt to fix it myself, however I couldn't find someone who experienced a similar issue anywhere online. Is anyone aware of what exectly the issue is or should I take it back to the mechanic? Thanks.

anyone have any tips regarding the removal of a sheared woodruff key for the flywheel on my 2006 yamah cygnus.

My Yamaha Why (2006) great unit assy broke, and apparently is not produced anymore. Does anyone know compatible parts, or any second hand shop for such part? Thank you
