After my daughters 125 was stolen a few months ago she decided not to replace it but instead went for her full licence, started training on a 650 in early July and passed her mod 2 in early Aug. Yesterday she rocked up to the family camp in Ashbourne derbyshire having ridden for a couple of hours in the rain not in her battered old car like we expected but on her new bike that she got the day before. Man that girl was buzzing.

The first FZR is finished, it is now i believe 100% original excluding consumables. To be fair some of the parts did not come out of the factory on this bike, but from the other one which is 40 units older. l decided there was no point in having two bikes that where ''kinda'' right, so i swapped some parts to make this one right, even down to the screen trim, grips and unpainted exhaust. lts a belting ride, great for the corners we have here in the mountains

After bigger trips in the last 2 summers, went for something a bit simpler this time: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipOApAFy2uslPq8LrM4D6NujD19LRLzZBSHLcPR-tUpWB0rFHE2kXk9T-BrU3K2iGw?key=XzFlbTdieWVOUk9yd3Z0cHR2Y1o5a3VfSVNmVzdn My Fazer is now at 40000 miles, but still did 900 miles in one day, when I did Austria back to Bristol.

Some images of my new beast, I have named Dark Star it is a 2013 bike with 1400 miles on the clock. I have added luggage although the rear bag is for long journeys ..its a bit big! Speedometer Cowl, saddlebag supports, tank pad and chrome trim on tank seam, other than that I am happy with it as it is maybe a riders back rest?? Wonder what other users think of the back rest? I have always had Suzuki cruisers, VL800 and M800 so its a step away from those with the XVS but I do like riding it seems a lot smoother and the floorboards a better position (more forward than the VL800) It came with a quick release Switchblade screen and a sissy bar/rear rack oh an…

A couple of pictures of the MT5 moped I restored and fitted a H100a engine to. I bought the moped for £200 as a rusty not runner I spent around £150 on sundries and a few parts and I bought a complete MT5 field bike fitted with the H100 engine for £90. After lots of cleaning painting and polishing (6hrs) per wheel with Autosol and buffing wheel I rebuilt it as standard. I then fitted the H100 engine and had a blast around. I sold this in the summer for a profit which paid for my DT The DT had a few faults. starter motor not working new brushes fitted sprag clutch slipping new springs and rollers fitted speedo not work…

Here's my DT 125, 1995 model, aircooled, all stock engine, but i don't know what kind of DT class (is it X?). I've made some modifications recently like lifting the rear until the rear mudguard will just little bit higher than front mudguard by mounting monoshock extender but my sidestand becomes shorter so i'll replace my sidestand with a longer one soon. Also, i installed clear tube from autolube to carb to monitor 2T oil flow. Next, i installed external fuel filter between fuel tap and carb. Then lastly, i installed a smaller mirror.

Bought as a bike which wouldn't start in the wet, with no MOT in Nov 2014 - it's taken me almost exactly a year to work through the things that needed sorting - these included a fuel system clogged with jellied ethanol, a suspect TCI box (replaced with Ignitech unit), carbs that needed a thorough overhaul, exhaust fitting and stud problems, and a dragging clutch. Jellied Carb Float Bowls Main Jet needed a clean Mikuni BS32 Carb jigsaw You could eat your dinner off these now! The end result
