Hi, just joined the site having bought an xvs 950a midnight star and wanted to introduce myself. Been away from bikes for about 8 years, having previously owned, kawasaki z1100, gpz 1100a2, zxr 750, suzuki gsf1200 bandit and a honda vtr 1000 firestorm. So as you can se this is my first cruiser, and loving it.

Hi everyone I've just started restoration on a 1986 dt 50 any information and advice would be much appreciated.

Just signing into the forum, 50, last bike GPZ900 a long time ago, working on a build for a dt175mx 1981 with my youngest (14), he's keen to learn, lots of bits in boxes at the moment, good frame and most parts look good to go, building the wheels up at the moment, looking forward to it but a bit daunted. I have the schematics but wondered where I might check the tech spec' for the bits and pieces? Anyone passing SWales feel free to nip in for a cuppa with a spanner..:)

Just a quick hi! Had a number of Yamahas over the last 43 years in fact my very first bike was a two stroke Yammy 80 in 1976.....fun times. Recently bought a xvs1100 and loving it.
