Am rebuilding a pre divi XJ600. Not got the engine running yet, I am sorting out the loom and the electrics. What I need to know is should the oil light come on when you first switch the ignition on? or is it only when the oil level falls? I do not want to remove and check too much stuff if it is working correctly. Apart from the neutral light, is there any indication that the ignition is switched on? Phil

hey guyes, im having problem with my new bike i dont why maybe i messed up but when i ws coming back from central it just stoped goin forward!! i never seen that happend to anything. the bike starts on neutral but it wont go in to next gear when put and the bike dont go forward? whats wrong with it ?? any one know?help

i have a 52 plate sr 125 and have been riding for about a month so far i have changed the chain and sprockets oil and replaced a few broken parts. all was going well but now the bike keeps cutting out on me had it on the center stand ticking over and it cut out been riding along with no problems and all of a sudden it will cut out. wher i does cut out it takes a few attempts to get it started again iv checked that there is fuel and have even switched over to reserve tank to see if it made any difference and it has not any help would be great

Hello All, I'm a new member looking for some help on 1973 dt 125 not charging the battery, I have a wiring diagram and I'm trying to check the windings from the stater circuit. The diagram shows a green,white and black wire from the stater to the voltage regulator. The black wire is ground, I measured 500k ohms between white wire and black wire. The same between the green wire and black wire. I also tried to measure the voltage from the green and white wire while the bike was running. The voltage varies with rpm but nothing over .25 volts ac. Everything works well when the battery is fully charged but I have to charge the battery with an external battery…

i have been doing up my yamaha dt125 for a while now come along way from a frame and box of bits all together But it wont start very often and when it does dies sound like missfire/backfire and wont start for ages i have replaced coil lead cdi (3rm20) spark plug compression is fine (fresh bore and piston) spark is good fuel seems fine im running out of ideas i have remmoved the carb and found a 240 jet installed so have ordered the 210 as im out of idears the loom was a mess and have had to repair it and wire the cdi up anyideas manythanks

Hi everyone, I am hoping you can help me find some parts I need for my Virago 125, I need to get a new fuel cap and ignition switch. I am currently restoring the bike as it has been sitting in a friends garden for years. its in pretty good nick but these are the two main parts I need to find as the keys for the bike have been lost along the way... I have been looking on ebay but can only really find parts in hong kong and would like to get them abit closer to home I am not fussed if they are abit moldy looking as I want to rat the bike out anyways... Any help and advice would be greatly received. Thanks

Hi I've bought a yamaha dtr 125 2007 yesterday it just cut out totally wouldn't bump start so replaced with new battery and spark plug still nothing but a clicking sound please help and also how do you clean out the air filter please

Hey folks, fairly new to this whole biking malarkey, passed my CBT and got myself a wee ybr125 2006, getting on great with it until I switched off and took my key out and engine still running!!!! Anyone got any ideas!!??? Also just before this started happening, he was struggling to start, battery going completely flat, having to kick start and if travelling with lights on(which I prefer to do) starts like misfiring any help would be awesome, cheers
