hi everyone my name is vince from south wales new on here , im in the middle of rebulding a dt50 mx for my boy not a rush job just a bit of a hobbie so joined here for the parts info or just a little advice nice to meet like minded people all the best vince.

Hi All, just wanted to introduce myself before jumping right in. I am very much a noob at the moment but am hugely enjoying riding. Both my Father and Brother ride so it was only a matter of time before I did. I currently have a Yamaha YBR 125 and plan to have it for a year or so before doing my full bike test. So yeah, hello and look forward to getting involved.

How is everyone? I have a 2005 Yamaha 650 V-Star and just finished putting in a new battery. I don't know if I am in right place to ask this question but my bike won't start untless I have the throttle pulled out. Now it will start if I am holding down the start button and revving it up at the same time. If I let go of the revving part, the bike dies. Any help is greatly appreciated.

hi everyone I'm new here, my names Jason live in Bristol , England , I'm 23 and just recently passed my a2 bike test and brought myself a Yamaha mt03, did have a Honda cbf125 before so big upgrade and lovin in, then I ran into some problems, and want to get some pro adivce before spending mega amounts in bike shop, thanks guys

Hi all, I've been a lurker for a while so thought I should say hello, I'm currently in my purgatory year on a 125 before being able to ride something larger. The new 125's left me a little cold so after a bit of research I settled on a DT125MX and found one that needed a few little things finishing off. Plan was always to get shot of it but have decided to keep it, silencer hanger bolt thought 50mph was a good speed to fail and sent the silencer skipping down the road at the weekend but I guess that comes with the territory! Hello to all in the Yamaha Owners Club , lucky me as I have 2 , one is the lovely 1981 RD125 DX with custom front end, and the second a XS400se that needs help , No Spark ?? In short I was given the bike. Sat for 15 years in my mates back yard all is well other than no spark? help wanted ergo me joining the club.

hello everyone! im not to sure how all this works but hey ho,,, im dan, been riding since i was a kid! im 24, i mechanically competent as from a kid i was always repairing my own motocross bikes! But every now and then get stumbled by something like every other mechanic! I did turn away from motocross when i hit 18 and started working then drifting then very quickly started to miss being on the back wheel!! soo.. anything else just ask!!

Hello everyone, My name is John I live just outside of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I've wanted a motorcycle all my life. Now at 32 years old I got one!! I picked up a 1982 xs400rj. It needs a little TLC before its road ready and i plan on doing most of the work myself. With the help of a few friends and the local Yamaha dealer of course. I have a 1980 sx850 special. I just picked this one up. I had the exact same bike two years ago color and everything. I loved it. The only major problem I'm having is 2nd gear. When I'm on the throttle in 2nd it bangs/ slips out,, in and out with a big slam/ bang. Doesn't happen when downshifting , slowing down no throttle. .??
