Hello all, I'm Steve I'm a retired engineer and have been riding bikes for, mmmm lets think, around fifty years. I did a bit of production racing in the 1960's on a Triumph Bonneville, riding to the track and riding home, not something any one would would perhaps consider these days. Steel rims, road tyres etc etc..... I stopped because I was concerned that a small 'off' would leave me stranded. Any way, I did drop out of motorbiking for a few years, marriage, mortgage and kids. But have been back riding for quite a while. I'm not as quick as I would like but thoroughly enjoy my riding. I currently have a MKII CBF1000F which I do like, it's about to run out of warrant…

Hello Everybody Sorry for the late introduction {computer decided to go Chernobyl on me}, I’m quite new to this whole forum lark so please bear with me. My name is Jim I am 28 years old and am currently living in Peterborough alongside my other half Andreanna who has also been enjoying the trills of two wheeled trasnsport since 2008. I have been riding motorbike's {solely Yamaha’s} since 1999 and have enjoyed every mile of it and will carry on doing so until they heave me in the hole in the ground.

Well im not sure what to put here really, so i will start with the basics. Ive recently passed my DAS after failing the old type test back in 2005. Ive bought a Fazer 600, which seems to be a reliable bike although i dont get to ride it much at the moment unfortunately. Ive been to London on it last weekend, and it went like a dream! I currently live in Bristol, so it was a fair old run. Im looking for a Bike club around here, so if anyone knows of any good ones then give me a shout. Im hopeing by joining a club, i can get to use the bike more. Anyway thats about it, not very exciting i know, compared to other newbies entries. Cecil (yes this is my name!!!)

my name is Jörg and since a week I'm a proud owner of a 22 year old XJ900 (a gift from my wife :-) I used to drive - amongst others - a SR500 in my mid-twenties and spent the last 8 years without motorcycles. Found this page accidentally ... and no, I don't have a "how-do-I-fix-this" question ... up to now ;-) Cheers, Jörg PS: the bike is already in the "Garage"

Hi everybody!!! I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a newby to this website and the motorcycle world. So I got my license by taking a safety course a few months back. I've always wanted to try riding, and I really enjoyed the course, so I decided to get a bike. I'm a student so cash is tight, but I found an old Yamaha xs400sg that I thought was in good shape. Thinking back I paid too much, since I didn't know a thing about bikes. And seeing as how I've spent about 300 on fixing it up... But anyway, I like the bike I think it is a great starter bike. But I'm still in the middle of fixing her up. Since this is my first time, I'm having some difficulties, bu…
