Hey guys, thanks for having me! I'm Adam. I've had my XT225 for 5 years now and take part in trials (Holsworthy Motor Club, Lands End & Exeter Trials, and others). At the end of the month I'm picking up an FZ6 which I'm very excited about. Thought it'd be a good idea to sign up to a Yammy forum for hints and tips. I'm off to have a look around... Cheers!

Hello my name is Graham. Just wanted to say hi and a little about myself. I've just joined after purchasing a DT 400B American import for restoration. As a child my family and I lived abroad and I had a ATC 90 Honda 3 wheel buggy , then a 1977 DT 100 and then a DT 125 and after that a Suzuki RM125C racing with the Dubai Dirt Donks for a couple of years . On our return to the UK I raced in school boy moto x 1st with a RM100N ,then back with my RM125C, then a Yamaha YZ125G and then a 125 Cagiva silver streak. When turned adult I had a season on a 490 Maico alpha , but unfortunately had to retire after my fathers funding stopped! I still rode as I used to borrow my …

HI Peeps, I kind of jumped the gun and forgot to introduce myself yesterday. I own a fazer 52 plate and have been riding for about 6+ years. I come from Aberdeen I am looking for some advice on my bike issue. ----------------- Now I have just bought a Yamaha Fazer 600 52 plate last week and all was fine but my rear left indicator went last night. Now I have changed the bulbs and tested it again but still not luck. Does anyone have a rough idea what maybe wrong? I guess it is wiring somewhere but don't have a clue where to start. Every other indicator works fine bar the left rear. Now I did stall the bike and very quickly started it and then I noticed the …

Long term member, but I've been unfaithful; haven't had a Yamaha for a while. I now have a rather tasty FZX 750 again! [sharedmedia=garage:vehicles:1061] My childhood dream bike, improved. On a side note; how do I remove pics from my gallery? I no longer own the bikes in there apart from this one, and I would like to remove them! Seeing the XJR upsets me... Loved that bike sooooo much.

Just a quick hello to all. Have been a biker on and off since the mid 60s. I have had an 1980 Rd200 & 1980 XS250 donated to me (both partially stripped). I am in the process of putting them back together, not aiming for show quality more of presentable. I am not working now so have some time on my hands. regards Mick

Hi all Paul here, 29 and from essex. Previously owned a 2000 R6 till I sold it 2 years ago. Brought myself a 1998 R1 yesterday and my jaw is hurting with this stupid grin stuck on my face. Looking to customise the bike in one way or another. Will post some pics up soon as she is. Look forward to speaking with you all.

Hello all.. Looking forward to learning something for you all and getting to see some great bikes.. New to forums myself but people keep recomending them.. I've had four Yam's (XS250, XS750, TRX850 & FZR1000) and a couple of other jap bikes but keep coming back to Yamaha, more than happy with the FZR at the moment. Thanks James-Newcastle

hi i have just discovered this site, as am looking at buying a very rough ty50p. my daughter will be 16 before i know it and travels on my guzzi all over the shop, she also has her own gas gas 65. the problem i have with this ty50p is it is quite rare and i cannot see that all the pedal gear is there. is there anyone on this site who knows these little beasts and can send me an exploded diagram or talk me through what i should be looking at. all the pictures i can find show a cover hiding everything and i cannot figure out how it would work anyway. my daughter has fallen in love with this bike and we would like to restore it together. cheers rob

Hello to all you proud Yamaha owners. My name is Steve And I live in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. I grew up in the middle of Monatana and at around the age of 12 or 13 I was bitten by the Yamaha bug as my uncle moved home to Montana and opened a Yamaha dealership in my hometown. My first bike was cobbed together from his heap of scrap bikes out back and was a &^%$# step through trail 90. My next bike was a yamaha GT 80A that I put 4000 miles on riding on a 320 acre farm, and then a crash killed the speedo. From there I graduated to a shiney new out of the crate 1979 YZ 125 that I rode so hard I broke the frame back bone on it. Next up was a 1980 YZ 125 that I …
