Hi all I am new to the forum. A mate told me about this cool site. I have been riding bikes from the age of 4 my first bike was an Italjet 50cc. From there the next one was a PW 50. a few years later dad got me a YZ. At the age of 16 The DT 50 was the road the the big world. In 2009 I got a new RM250 and loved it, but not forgetting the faith full KDX 200 in the shed. Last week I saw a 1991 DT 50 for sale and grabbed it. A project bike the fix. Cheers Hectic.

This is just a quick post to say hi. My name is Ed and I'm from Newcastle. I have recently upgraded from an SR125 (which I have stripped and kept rolling even though it is nearing its end) to an FZR600. I look forward to chatting bikes with like minded people and you never know, maybe there will be someone like me who I can help out with some SR problem advice Thanks Ed

Hi Ladies & Gents, I have just started riding again after about 15 years. I was riding 125`s and yesterday I passed my Mod 2 bike test. As well as my Honda CBR 125 R, I have a YZF R6 that`s been waiting patiently in my garage. Now that I have passed I cant wait to get out & about on it, but I'm having a bit of bother with the alarm system, so I hoping that I may get some help, as well as making new friend and some good o`l banter. Ride Safe Be Safe Kind Regards Ed Maguire

Hi All, just got my TDM 900 , a week ago. Such a suprise. I went into my Honda dealers with my Dullville, and it caught my eye. A thirty minute test ride later and , it came home with me. Its silver , with a Givi higher screen, and a givi rack and top box. Its sooooo, comfy, and a pleasure to ride. What I cant get over is , how good it is on fuel?????? I am an LGV/PCV Driving Instructor. My passion is Field Archery, and Motorcycles, (but not at the same time). My partner (female) rides a BMW f650. We live in Warrington Cheshire. We are both over 40. Always up for a ride out somewhere. May I ask, what is the expected life of a well looked after /serviced TDM ?…

Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. I just bought my first street bike, a 1983 Yamaha Maxim xs400. Needs a little loving but so far I put a few hundred km (ontario canada - we use km!) on it without any major issues. I am enjoying myself greatly so far, its quite a rush. I have had plenty of dirt bikes as a kid and still enjoy my atv but the bike is a fantastic get up and go vehicle. I thought I should join the forum to help me learn more about my bike and get any tips that may improve my abilites to do self repairs. I prefer to fix things myself when ever possible. Anyways - Hello and go Yamaha!

Hi, My name is Paul Garnett but better known as Alf. I have a Yamaha xj600s 1998. I passed my test 2 years ago and bought this, and am enjoying biking but i started late as i am 44. Its good to chat to people who are into thier biking because you get a lot of feedback and help with issues that are difficult to ressolve and hopefully i can do the same for others. Paul
