Just purchased my first bike (Yamaha SR125 1999) and absolutely loving it so far! I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to motorcycles so i figured this would be a great place to join and speak to the Experts! Hope you are all well D

Hello all, from Canada. Long time rider, new to yamaha. I am a die hard honda rider and wrencher, but finallygot a dream bike that I have wanted forever. 1986 FZ 750 (red, white and blue). It isnt running but I have known the bike for almost 30 years. It is near completion of an engine rebuild and I will do a frame up restoration. I ride an ST 1100 sport touring and love wrenching and rebuilding on the old bikes. Right off the top, I need a new gas tank, upper left fairing, belly pan, and exhaust. If anyone has some parts to sell, please let me know. Cheers.

Hi, I am eager to learn from other members' experience and share my own. I ride a classic XS750S from 1978 around Montreal and New England. I am facing some challenges, but more on this later.

Friends call me Whitey!!! Just got an XS850 and Im lookin too fix it up. I figured Id check out some of these motorcycle forums too help if I had any questions or just see if I could make some friends I could visit when its built. Im a stage hand in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and I have a lot of spare time so I thought I would try to restore an old junker I found. I dont know a lot about bikes but I do claim to be pretty handy with a set of tools if you know what Im sayin!! Hope I get to know more of you through out my time here! Thanks.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and have finally flogged my GSXR, after 12 loyal Suzuki years, leaving me sadly frustrated with no bike. Desprately chasing an 06 R1 50th Anniversary model Limited Edition (with the gold wheels). Has anyone seen one recently or know someone who owns one on the forum? Was going to post a Wanted ad but can't. Do I have to buy a membership to do this and if so which level? Thanks in advance for help..

Hello all, my first time in the YOC forum, in fact my first time in any forum. The last time I rode a bike was about 10 years before the internet had been invented and 20 years before in smartphones. My last bike was a very unreliable GS550 custom. Possibly the worst electrics on a Japanese bike. Before that was a GT500 rattling rice burner - I can't believe they are worth so much money now. I also had an XS500 8 valve for a while, a CB550K4 and my favourite a CB350K4. I decided to buy something small and sedate as I wanted to not be too scared after all this time and in my declining years. How was I supposed to know someone had missed a 0 off the cubic c…

Just joined this OC, saying hello. Boy of the 80's interested in anything related to XS650/750/850 and especially XS1100. Owned many previously used and enjoyed examples. Based in UK SE, currently looking for XS650 project but also have shed full of XS1100 parts/engines, and a nice 1100S [82].

So I got a good telling off for not introducing myself. I was always told it was impolite to talk about myself so this will be brief. Bikes I've owned: Yamaha XT350 Yamaha RX135 Yamaha RXS100 and an Indian Pulsar 150. I've done two motorbike trips. One in India, Mumbai to the south tip. One from South Africa to Kenya. Cheers

Hallo Folks I own a Virago VX535 and it's a wonderful bike. Winter is here though so I'm bracing myself for the weather. I'm fairly new to the biking world, having had my licence since 1990 I spent many years without Transport. I bought the Virago in May. Look forward to reading your posts and taking in your experience and knowledge. Cheers Dave

Good afternoon ladies and gents, My name is Charlie, I was researching some information for a build I'm hoping to get started in the next couples of weeks and figured I would join up as a full member so I don't have limited access to threads and can engage properly with the Yammie community. I'm going to be picking up my mates old 2007 DT125RE in pieces this week and start putting it back together accompanied by a full engine rebuild. This is how she'll be run until the winter when I have time to deconstruct it again and do a full restomod jobbie on it. Hopefully I'll get a chance to meet some of you and have a natter about this and that. All the b…

Hiya, just found you despite having my Bulldog for 11 years; I seem to be a bit of a late starter. My husband got her for me as a late 50th birthday present and I wouldn't swap her for anything!
