RTI111684... The only thing I know about the several boxes and frame I loaded into my garage last week. Instead of stock, I'm looking to build a street legal hybrid flat track/cafe project... Basically a low slung flat tracker with knobbies and clip-ons. I've had several projects, with tons of forum support, and it definitely looks like the community here is very helpful and will save me many headaches along the way!

Hi everyone this is my first post as I've only just joined!!! I'm wondering if there is anyone out there with a fuel tank for our yami rxs100 - just had an encounter with a black cab and now the tanks dented, which is really annoying..the pride and joy and hard work to get it where we want it and now this!!! If anyone has or knows anyone who has a red one of these to sell, please let me know! Might need a few other bits for it yet! Hope to be spending more time on here now - be good to read others stories and ideas etc! Thanks!

Hello folks! Thought i'd poke my nose in as i have starteda new project and will require some info at points i'm sure! I acquired a '76 V50 last year from a friend of my father-in-law. At the time i was building up a '76 CB125 and a teardrop trailer, so the little Yammy got left to wait it's turn. Since then (oct 2013) the little Honda got stolen and torched (which wasn't ideal), we had a baby, bought a car (Triumph Toledo), sold the car, bought an '88 CB125 and moved house. The newer Honda had an engine rebuild due to lies from the previous owner (not ideal), but i am now free to start the little V50!! So... Here i am! I'll be posting in the classic section for obv…

Hello there. My 15 year old son has bought himself a YB100 that he wants to restore before his 17th birthday (06/09/12) so he can take it on the road in as near mint condition as he is able. Are there any recommended web sites we can visit for help and/or supplies? The trickiest thing I'm coming up against at hte moment are replacement decals; anyone any useful contacts for those, please? Also, where is the best/cheapest paint option? I'm loving watching him get his teeth into a real project with a visible end result. Who'd have thought my teenage son would show energy and drive?! The bike was bought as a runner but needs some reasonable anmount of work to g…

I'm the proud owner of an YBR 125. I know, it's a small bike, but for me it's (almost) perfect, at least for the moment. Even if I have a full license since 2007, this is my first bike.

Hi All Just joined but would like confirmation that the Carb version tank has a hole for the petrol tap and another in the centre rear for the sender, whereas the injection type just has a large cylindrical hole for the pump. Any other differences to distinguish the different years would be helpful. Thanks in advance Pete

Hi all, just wondering if the extra wind resistance caused by a screen is gonna be too much for my little bike to push through or if it will improve things for MPG and comfort? i have a 25 mile each way commute, mainly along a dual carriageway on the coast and it gets pretty windy sometimes i'm thinking about getting a universal screen like the Airblade Tall boy anyone had experience of one of these on a 125?? thanks Rob

Hey all I've had my bike for a few weeks now and and getting tired of wearing a standard backpack for my commute so I am looking into storage options for my uniform and other bits. The YBR Custom has a luggage rack on the back but I am not too fond of the top box solutions out there. I can't seem to find any clear answer to this elsewhere but can tail packs fasten to luggage racks? I know that may sound like the dumbest question ever but it seems like some fastenings would not be suitable for the rack? Does anyone have any tips or recommendations?

Hi everyone, as you can see from my username I am very new to 2 wheel motoring and have recently acquired a YBR 125 Custom following a successful CBT. I have one question which may seem quite stupid to the experienced but here goes. I took my CBT on a Yamaha that had an engine kill switch to be used in emergencies only. The Custom does not appear to have this kills switch. Is this something I should be worried about or is it just a feature that is not on the custom? Many thanks

I couldn't find the specific forum to help with engine problems. So here I go.. Sunday the 4th Me and some of my friends took a bike ride to Hartside cafe, but unfortunately my bike broke down on the way there and finally gave up the ghost at the actual cafe. Whilst I was going around a bend pass Alston my check engine light popped on and my power cut. I had to ignite my bike again to get the revs up. It said I was doing 50MPH all the way there with 6000 revs. Whilst turning into Hartside cafe my bike cut out completely and didn't want to start again, so I had to call my father and his friend to recover it. It's not a problem with the battery or sparkplug nor the …

Hi all, sorry to raise conundrum on my first post, but this is driving me mad, so hope anyone can possibly help with an ignition problem on my ybr125 07 plate (carb version) since around november last year my bike has been reluctant to start with a warm engine, eg i've taken it out for a run, stopped, and couple of minutes later when i'm ready to go again, my bike doesn't want to start. it will start fine from a cold engine on or off the choke, and once it is running (hot or cold) it runs fine and you wouldn't suspect a thing. i did suspect it might be the coil breaking down but the replacement hasn't seemed to make a lot of difference as it still is playing up.... …

Hi, I'm Blake! My used '07 YBR125 was delivered today (the week long wait was nearly unbearable being stuck on the 50cc!, so I guess I qualify for the Yamaha owners club! Just to say hi really, looking forward to getting to know the YBR a little more, and looking forward to the expert advice i'm sure will be kicking around here! As my 50cc was a Piaggio, and died at the merest glimpse of rain i'm mainly looking forward to a bike that starts and still goes in the wet! So hello to all of you
