Hello Everyone I thought i would introduce myself to the Yamaha mix, my name is Richard but i like being called Ricky. I've not long got myself my first Yam and its a bike i've always liked the look of but as its a 1990 bike its got a few problems that need sorting out and she's abit of a battel scared war horse and she's going to need loads of tlc. I'm 43 and live in Bradford but come from Maidenhead berkshire. My love of the motorcycles I think started when I was around 13 years old when I discovered an old motorbike in my back garden that despite my dad telling me to stay away from it I had the bike up and running in no time at all and i think it wa…

hi lads, my names mike I'm from Plymouth, devon. got my first bike about 20months ago (ybr125) didn't really like it as it just seemed boring and cold compared to a car, sold it, few months later got a 2stroke and iv been building, swapping selling and modifying bikes ever since, I think I'm on my 13th now haha (still got 2 and 2 projects). so since the summer when I started working on my first 2 stroke iv learnt how to rebuild bikes completely myself, I still get stumped now again but I think with no real qualifications I'm doing alright haha! anyways I had an old '91dtr a few months back, modified it a bit (cosmetically mainly as I was happy with the power ) …

I am new to this site and am an avid Yamaha guy. I've had bikes, trikes and now atv's and enjoy the riding in East TN where I live. I'm looking to purchase a 1973 AT3 which was the first bike I had as a kid. Any help on this would be appreciated. Look forward to enjoying the site.

Hello, just bought a 2010 Yamaha YBR125 and thought it would be a good idea to join here and get some advice and tips from the more experienced of you Yamaha owners The name's Tony and I live in Ireland. Look forward to browsing around the site and reading the posts. Cheers Tony.

  13. Hey there guys I have very recently (two days ago) passed my motorbike tests completely and gained my A2 licence and have chosen a xj600 pre-div. Heard a lot of good things about this forum and can't wait to get on the road (The bike is yet to be delivered ). It'll be my first bike ever let alone first big bike so I'm sort of glad that I need to get it restricted. Its red and has done 28k but for a 1992 bike I thought that was ok. Once again hello everyone!

Hello Yamaha Owners. I am new to the bike scene, I just purchased my first bike which is the Yamaha R1. No, it would not have been my first choice, but funny story. I went to Colorado to help my best friend move. 3 weeks prior to the move, he had purchased HIS FIRST bike, the R1. He had never even sat on a bike in his life, Myself I had some experience. Get to the point, I tried teaching the kid how to ride, it just was not working out. I decided to purchase the bike from him, and the day after the agreement, I rode the bike from Denver, Colorado to Minneapolis, Minnesota.. It was the best yet worse experience yet... So here I am.

Hi everyone just thought would introduce myself. Have recently bought a radian which is my first 'big' bike. Need to do a few jobs to get it through its MOT as the previous owner was clearly stupid and decided to cut the back light wire, remove the indicators and even the flasher relay. But hopefully will all be fun and will learn some stuff as I go. Cheers James
