I've just bought a 2006 ybr 125... I previously had a dtr which was 2 stoke, is there any thing I should do/look at to make sure everything is in order? And is my 2006 model fuel injected or not? Which is better? And finally how fast will it go and is there ways to make it go faster?

Well, where to start? Passed bike test in 79 on a CB200. Got married in 80, flogged bike to buy stuff for new house. 33 years later my uncle said I could buy his CX650ED. WHOA!! I ain't sat on a bike for 33yrs, that Honda is one heavy bike, I'll get summat a bit smaller to practice on 1st. Onto ebay, looking for something a bit different/old/classic(?). Bike or scooter, not bothered, then I saw her "What on earth is that? a Yamaha Beluga? Never heard of it, must be a USSR import" Then, like you do when your on ebay & had a coupe of beers, I placed a bid. 3 days later I checked my bid list & I'd won it!! So fellow 'Beluga' owners i'll be needing your expertise…

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and have a question. I've owned dirt bikes my whole life and just added another to my list of bikes that I've owned. I just bought a 2003 WR450 from somebody who told me it hasn't been started in four years, in storage, they also told me the electric start doesn't work, no biggie, so I bought a new plug and cleaned out the carb. I kicked this thing literally all day and started 4 times but only briefly. Is there some kind of trick to starting these things? I've never owned anything this new or big. Also is there two hot starts. I have one on a lever and one red knob. The bike only started after I messed with the red knob. Thanks.

Hey guys. So I bought my first motorcycle ever and it is a blast. I bought a 1996 Yahama Seca 2 and it is a fun beginners bike. I have had the bike for about 3 months now and have just got one of my first problems with it. The neutral light sensor went to crap and now my bike doesn't know when it is in neutral. I have been surfing the net for hours trying to find out where the sensor is for my bike but no luck. I have see tons of people post pictures where it is on newer models but is no help for me. Please let me know if you have any idea where it is located and if cleaning it will fix it or is it time to buy a replacement piece.

I have had this engine in my shop for years and thought it was a YDS3 until this morning. It has bore of 50.46 mm, obviously an overbore. The intake manifold is 18mm. It must be a 180 but the YCS1 motor number does not come close to the D100 prefix. It is a 3 port engine and in good shape, no pistons in the engine, turns free. Wot the hell is it. I have raced TD1C, YM1,YR2, RD350 ETC. My regular ride is an OSSA 250, turns 12400 and 46 hp at that rpm, I was timed at Mid Ohio backstretch at 137, but at 230 pounds and 74 years old at the time it was pretty good. My young rider should break 140 this year at Daytona. I have since retired but am building a YDS3 to TD1B specs…

Hi Guys I hope you don't mind but I've never owned a Yamaha before. Been riding dual sport bikes, a Honda XR650L and a Transalp 700. Both fantastic bikes. Unfortunately, I just don't seem to be getting enough DS riding done and whenever I do get together with mates, it's with my street riding mates. I then end up using my Dual purpose bike more on tar than sand. So I'm in the market for a road bike and with a limited budget R60k-ish, I want some advice on a Fazer 1000. So here I am ! Thanks
