Hey All! Been prowling the Yamaha/Vintage sites for years now. Diving in now. Not brand new to the Moto world but close enough. Had a '80 Suzuki GSX ~5 years that was put to rest after a Montero did some cosmetic alteration to it - without my permission (or serious injury thank God). Took a few years off, but love it too much. I love to ride and love to fix things even more. Thus, my love for vintage. I am female about 5'8" so not the size of most of you guys and wanted a bike that I could manipulate easily. So I got 2! Both fixer-uppers (just how I like them): 1968 Yamaha YG5T 80cc Trailmaster 1968 Yamaha L2 100cc Trailmaster I debated a scooter, but prefe…

Hi, ive just bought a YBR125 for some fun, going to start from my house in Rutland ride to lands end, then up to John O Groats via the west coast of Scotland and then back home, this is a test run before flying the bike to Cape town and riding it north to Lira in Uganda, to give the bike to a charity i support over the internet, so about 7,000 miles between them, should give my arse a work out! Have plenty of other bikes to play with from Aprilia RSV, Ducati 851 down to Benelli 250 2c, Sunbeam S8 and a Monet Goyon from 1954. cheers Ian

Hi Guys, Ken from BikeBuilds.net here. Our site organizes bike projects in one convenient location with the goal of reaching more interested builders than possible for any single forum. We always link back to your original forum thread, credit your username, and include a small image (similar to those displayed by Google Images) of your build. If you'd like to have any of your builds featured on our site, just send me a message. We'll add your bike ASAP and post in the thread with links to your new entry.

I'm getting quotes of £300 inc vat....bit annoying as just dropped £450 on a service. Hi all Just bought a 1998 FZS 600 and was wondering if there are any disabled riders out there who know of any way to extend the gear lever? Following an accident I cannot bend my left leg beyond 85 degrees. The seat height is about right, but I can't twist my leg enough to use the gear lever without causing pain in my leg. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey I've bought a FZ6-N. The owner I bought it from only had one key, a blake one. When I went to my yamaha dealer they said that you had to have the masterkey to registrate new keys, they also said that they couldn't reprograme the ECU and make me a new one. Instead they said if u want more keys u have to replace the hole locking system, and it will cost about 17k+ SEK aproximately 2K €. So now i wonder is there any cheaper easier way to get any more keys as reservs? Please help me if u know anything

Being the usual teenager i have stuck stickers on my machine and swapped out the stock lights for brand new ones i have bought a jack up kit and a new air filter sponge as the old one was getting a bit used. I love my little scooter it is a new sense of freedom i have never had before some of my mates have bought 50cc bikes and we go out for a "scoop" regulary and i find one problem with my scooter compared to their bikes is that tincy bit less speed i have and being young this means everything to m…
