Just wanna say hi to everyone as I've just joined this site after purchasing a 1992 Yamaha Diversion XJ600 after passing my motorbike test only last month and having a quick seat on my work mates Diversion and found out it was a comfortable riding position. So now I've got my bike, I'm just in the process of chaining the chain and sprockets, putting some auxiliary power sockets, some heated grips, the power lead to my battery opitimiser and heated gloves and vest. I wanna get the bike in a touring mode as in November a mate and myself are off to Birmingham NEC for the motorbike live show and if that goes well then off to he south of France next year.

I joined this forum ages back but never got around to introducing myself. Better late than never. I moved from the dull world of twist and go to proper bikes 3 years back now and utterly love my XJ6S. If I have to go somewhere without the tribe, it'll be me and the Divvy. We've had some long trips (Surrey to North Devon and back), plenty of commutes and blasts out to Box Hill and of course, the Hindhead Tunnel. Other loves (aside from the family), fine ale, loud and heavy music and footy. Cheers

I wanted to ask for you guys to tell some good or bad stuff about it and for people in Latvia could you tell em the best dealer? Oh and would a guy that is 1.94m tall feel awkward on a r125? Thanks in advance guys!!

Hi, Back in the day (1970) I had a DT1 250cc Enduro. Now, I have a 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT on order, so I'm back on a Yamaha. My most recent ride was a BMW R 1200 RT and had it for 5 years. I loved that bike but now, at 66 years old, I'm looking for a lighter weight, sport touring bike. This new Tracer seems to have every thing I'm looking for in a mid-weight sport touring bike.

I joined this site so I could learn more about my bike. I live in New Mexico and I have some land so I'm hoping to get this bike running. I would love to ride around on it and occasionally take it to town since its a dual sport. The bike was started by a friend who couldnt take it when he moved. I adopted it and am finishing it. Its ugly, its nasty, it needs a lot of cosmetic work. It runs though. I did the same thing with a Honda CB360 from 1979 but it was sold when it was doneBecause I lived where a bike wasn't practical. I only paid a cd player for it so it was well worth it, lol. I'm an artist so Im familiar with lots of materials and tools. I just am igno…

Hi all, It says introduce yourself so here goes. 25 years after not finishing my bike test first time round (after my best mate was wiped out on his Honda 400-4) I'm trying again. I wish I'd done it back then though - 2 attempts to get through my Mod 1 test and I just failed my first attempt at Mod 2 is trying my patience and my wallet. I always loved the look of Viragos so bought a 250 for when I get through my test (I'm doing Direct Access). (I was going to upload the photos but I'm struggling with finding out about how to add to the gallery bit). I then made the mistake ??? of sitting on a Dragstar 650 Classic while trying on a new jacket. One p…

Hello, I'm not exactly a new forum member but I haven't exactly been active so I thought I'd introduce myself. I live in Scotland. I have an XJ900F (Amongst many other bikes.) which I will be using again soon when my son nicks my K1100LT off me when his two years on his 350 are up. I'm a year round biker,(have been for thirty odd years.) & I am a qualified motorcycle mechanic, though tbh I ain't worked on any proper modern bikes, & I don't work in the bike industry. Bikes of the 70s.80s & even 90s are my thing.

I've only been riding for a couple of months now and have yet to take my full bike licence here in the UK (I just hold my CBT) If anyone has tips on improving my riding skills and getting the most out of life in the saddle whist staying safe I'd really appreciate hearing them.
