Hello, Following a change at work our car parking has been taken away so I am due to do my CBT on Friday. I have never ridden before (apart from a 1hr taster) and was brought up on the whole bikes are bad by my parents. While I'm fairly apprehensive I'm also a little bit excited! I am looking at purchasing a 2nd hand YBR 125 as it will hopefully hold some value if / when I do my DAS and I look to trade it in. I know very little about bikes though so I was hoping to get some handy hints / advice on things I should look for? The bike I have my eye on is a 2009 model with 4400 miles on the clock, advertised at £1695. It is advertised by a localish …

Hello everyone, I was searching online for a good Yamaha forum, and this was recommended several places, so I'm looking forward to many hours of reading in here As an Xj6 2010 owner, I do have some questions already, hopefully you can help me out. I have google around to find answers, but the more I search the more in doubt I got, so I figured I'd ask you guys. 1) Since I'm looking for ways to make my XJ6, MY OWN, I have come to wonder... Is there a difference between the FZ6R and the XJ6, other than difference in HPs.. If so, what are the diffences? 2) Will I be able to fit a Two Brothers Exhaust V.A.L.E M2 005-2570107V-B Black series on my XJ6? (and wil…

Just a quicky to introduce myself. I live in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. I have just bought a Yam XS750 Triple. I always liked the Triumph Trident as a kid but these are much more affordable and probably more reliable. The bike is in pretty good condition but just needs a bit of TLC. Hope to use it as my Sunday bike in the spring. Cheers

Hello All, I was recently gifted a 1980 DT175 that's been sitting for some time, and am now in the process of getting it road worthy again. I've found lots of great information on this site, and am joining up to ask questions and contribute where I can. So far it's been an awesome resource!

Afternoon Guys & Gals.. I've been browsing this forum for a while but finally decided to register! My name's Paul aka WarriorShark (Comes from the fact I support Wigan Warriors in Rugby League and Sale Sharks in Rugby Union), and I'm from the Stoke-on-Trent area. I've just bought a YZF-R125 after being on a WR125R for around 18 months. Still on the L's at the moment, but will be keeping the R125 even when I pass my test as it's a great little bike (looks good too!), but looking to an R6 in maybe 12/18 months time. I can regualarly be found at the Star Bikers Toy & Egg runs in Stoke, and I virtually live at Stoke Speedway!

  16. Hi there people, Just a hello really. Wanted to get back on a bike again after having had one whilst i traveled round New Zealand a few years back. I've now picked myself up a 1993 Yamaha T80 Townmate. I got it for £250 with 5000 genuine miles and all the original MOT's. It had been off the road for 8 years when I purchased it but after pumping up the tyres and giving it a good look over it flew through it's first MOT since 2003 Using it everyday now as it saves me a fortune in fuel. 130mpg is certainly helping the pocket. I've already done 800 miles in my first month of ownership. The money I save is all going towards getting my full license hopefully i…
