I hope I don´t offend anybody with the title. That´s not my intention. I am a young guy in my mid forties. I am from a small town in Denmark. I like to screw around my bike - hehe, no that came out wrong. I like to work with bikes and cars, or everything with an engine. I am a real DIY man. I have bought an old Yamaha FZR 1000 from 1988 with some bruises, so I am going to give her a makeover. Maybe a wider rear rim, if I can get it to fit, and yes I know a different rim can change the riding character, but if the riding turns out so bad, then I can always change it back to standard. Hi all My name is Andy and ime currently working on a Yamaha YB/FS1E Special which is coming along slowly as ime still in the gathering parts stage so having to restore quite a bit of stuff before i can use it (you know how it goes )have been in to bikes since i was 9 when i got my first bike PC50....stop laughin :) and have had plenty since including lots and lots of lovely Yams, glad to be a part of such a great forum/site and hope i will be able to help some of you out as we go on with my vast knowledge an all that :)

hi their guys im trying to locate where the fuse holder goes on a dt125mx 1981 model.every thing works as it should but mine does not have one fitted.allso why are their two joined black wires next to the rectifier with a female connector on

hi all theres not much to say really i havnt yet started riding on the road but got myself a TZR125 from a friend needs some work so i decided to smooth over the frame, paint it up nice and then get on the road. My main goal for the bike is to make her look different but still have that classic tzr look so i am smoothing over the grooves in the frame, painting it white and gold, and maybe beefing up the bodywork a little. i will try to get some pictures up of the project so far but at the moment im having a bit of a painting session. hopefully i will be out on the roads soon

I've been a Yamaha rider all my biking life (30+ years) but I've never had access to the internet before. Yes there are still a few of us out there! Looking forward to getting a feel for what problems / experiences other bikers have with XS650C's and XS750SE's plus general chat with the biking community.

Hi all, My name is Ben, I am a total bike noob. So here to get some advice and learn about bikes through the collected wisdom of you guys. Bought a yamaha xvs dragstar 125 in may as a little workshop project. Turns out the previous owner lied to me regarding its condition and the bike is a non runner. Zero compression in either cylinder. So tonight I will be starting the strip down and to try locate the problem. Will begin with a few drops of oil into the barrels to rule out worn rings. Hey guys, I'm not new to bikes but it has been 8 years since my last ride. I have recently got my first bike back, a 1976 Dt175c that my old man bought for my brother and I as a bush hack/learner bike. I'm am going to completely restore the old girl back to its original form.
