Hey everyone! I've been browsing the forums and decided I might as well introduce myself! Name's Ryan, I'm 31, brand new to motorcycles, and I live in the little town of Port Dover, Ontario. Some of you may have heard of it before... A motorcycle has been the one machine on wheels which has eluded me. I have drove everything from cars, little trucks, big trucks, boats, snowmobiles, quads...3wheelers....and anything else that you can fit a motor in, but I've honestly always been a little intimidated and maybe even scared to ride a motorcycle. It was almost a conquest for me.... I had to face my fears. I searched and searched for the perfect newbie starter bike.…

Hey ladies and gents Im anthony, 19 and just bought myself a YRB 125 2010 brand new for £2500 and im well happy lol. I've had a 125 scooter for about 6 months but it was bought for me and is chinese and unreliable so i decided to px it in and sort me some thing decent. I was looking at getting a yzf r125 but in the long run the cost and cost of insurance ect put me off, so i went to the dealers today and ordered my YBR 125 in black and i get to pick it up next saturday. Ill get some decent pic's when i go and pick it up next week but this is just to start with This will be the first time in about 5 years in which ive rode a manual bike so w…

Hi Folks I've just joined the site - I'm not a biker, but my other half is... She's just got herself a 2001 XVS 125, which has been sitting in someone's back garden for the past 4 years. I've got the owner's manual and have a fair bit of experience with things mechanical (although the last bike I worked on was a Kawi KH1000), but I wanted to check first for any advice before I start the "recommissioning" process. Also, when I say "has been sitting", I mean just that - it has not been run (or, in fact, moved) since early 2008... I appreciated that all the fluids will need changing, and that the tyres are probably suspect, despite having very little wear…

Hey, New to this forum, I've posted a couple times in the dirt section. I'm working on fixing up an old 74 mx250 and it has the wrong CDI (actually I think it's the wrong engine and the right CDI) Anyway, I have another Yammer, a 2000 650 V-Star Custom, red bike, blacked out a lot of the chrome, wrapped the pipes added a bit of cf (more like DiNoc not real carbon) I've also had 2 ninja's and I have a KZ400 Cafe Racer. Oh and a pocket bike, but that doesn't really count.

Hello to everyone! Another new member; a little about me... Had a Suzuki GSF 600 Bandit as my first bike, which I binned at about 3mph - bloody drain grates! I bought a Yamaha FZS 600 Fazer to replace it, and loved it. Comfortable, quicker, and downright fun. However, I've just sold the Fazer to buy an '01 YZF-R6 which is very quick, psychotic, and nowhere near as comfortable but a damn sight more of a giggle. I don't claim to be a genius but if I think I know the answer to something I'll give it a go; other than that, I shall be asking everyone else for help! Cheers ;-)

Hi Folks, I have bought my first ever RD350LC YPVS today to fettle and ride/parade. I have never been a fan of 2 strokes but heard so many guys say how much fun they are I couldn't resist. I collect it tomorrow, snow permitting. At 75 this year, its time I pensioned off the ZXR750K1 which is getting heavy these days. Lets hope the Yam is as much fun. I look forward to reading all about them on the club forums. Thanks Barry

Hi All, It seems to be a common theme in the New Members section, but I'm also an older (but not too old) new rider. I've always wanted to ride a motorbike, so have finally taken the plunge. Did my CBT last month and have purchased a YBR125 Custom – have only had a chance to do 8 miles due to weather, but it's a start.

Hi guys and girls. My names Pete and I'm a bikeaholic. Another confession I have is, I've pretty much been a gixxer man until I just bought this Fz1. Loving it at the moment. So comfortable to ride (maybe I'm getting old) and quick. I'm based in Hemel Hempstead and looking for like minded bikers for a ride out. (Sounds like a dating add lol). Look forward to chatting

Hi there. I'm new to the forum and looking for some advice. I have a 87 DT125 LC MK3, for the most part the bike is great and well used on and offroad. As time has gone on the rear suspention has got softer and lower. It often bottoms out coming over lumps off road. I cant find a replacement that looks good enough to spend money on. Does anybody know if I could replace it with an easier to find one off a DTR? Thanks
