Has anyone fitted a TTR exhaust to an XT600e?Also has anyone fitted any aftermarket system to the XT600e (2000 on)?What results have you had?Looking to buy a silencer to replace the heavy and restricted standard system and any advice from XT owners would be great.

As its says rly, has anyone did it.Im guessing that i will have to change the yokes and all the rest,But will i be able to fit a speedo on so that i can see speed etc or... Does anyone know where i can get some really good front and rear suspension as i went on my first mx track the other day and omfg i love it, just when you land the shocks or not the best as you can guess there not meant for it. I will get a yz125 etc but i really cant afford it atm so just went to beef my dt125r up a bit as i does the job,By the end of the day i was over taking must of the ktms,yz etc and keeping up with some of the other guys. Mx is the way for me.

Hi, I have been trying to find about the chain rollers and tensioner on my 1987 dt125 lc. My haynes manual is not alot of use as it doesnt realy mention anything about them.The manual shows it should a tensioner,my bike has no sprung tensioner,but has two rollers.Does anyone know if the bike is ment to have a sprung tensioner(i have found the manual wrong in the past),or just the two rollers.Also are either of the rollers ment to be in permanent contact with the chain.I have just fitted new chain and sprockets and would like to get the setup correct.I have tried to find information about the subject but i havent had much luck! Thanks in advance for any replies,any help …

Hi All,just woundered if anyone was knowlegable enough to tell me what year ypvs servos changed from a 2pin 1 bullet connector to a 4pin 1bullet,not being rude to anyone but a guess is not really good enough it can be the same as bad advice/a bum steer !!! Thanks......Tim

My DT125X needs a new chain and sprocket set after covering 13k miles. Any advice on a decent set? I know Renthal have a reputable name, but I can't find a renthal set for the DT. Is a standard yamaha kit the way to go? Any advice gratefully received, Jam353

is it worth gettin a DEP SILENCER for my DT125R how much of a diffrence will it make? and in what ways? also ive heard standard silencer is better is that true ? thanks

I HAVE A 1978 DT 400 AND HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO WIRE IT UP...NO LONGER USING ANYTHING LIKE HEADLIGHT,TAIL LIGHT,HORN,BLINKERS,ETC...JUST NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WIRES TO HOOK UP FROM CRANK CASE TO CDI TO COIL AS OF NOW NO WIRES ON THE BIKE ARE CONNECTED AT ALL SO CAN ANYBODY HELP OR SEND ME A WIRING DIAGRAM PLEASE THANK YOU. ....JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW TO GET FIRE TO MY SPARK PLUG TO MAKE IT RUN....

Hi guys, first time user. I recently bought an 85 200 yamaha atc. The seller said it starts first or second pull ever time---(bs). The only way I can start it is to pull the plug- spray b-12 in the hole-replace plug, then pull rope several times with throttle open. Thats a lot of work. The compression release seems to be working, its getting gas, I guess the spark is (new plug) ok, and I jerk the puddin out of the rope when I try to start it. Could anyone shed any light on this, I would deeply appreciate it? Thanks

I've found a 91 YZ 250 in good shape, rebuilt and runs good for $1000 Canadian. Price aside, does anyone own a similar bike, and have positive or negative feedback about this year/model? Are the Suzuki's, Kawi's, or Honda's a better bet in the early 90's? I am an intermediate rider who is looking to improve but not race. I ride a lot of trails, and thought I might try a trip around the local motocross track. I currently ride a 77 DT 250, when it's running, and a 77 DT 175.

I made sure everything was connected (kill switch, cdi coil ) and still no spark. i hooked a battery up to the red power wire on the CDI and when i did the voltage at the wire going to the coil slowly climes from 0 to about 7.v at about a rate of .01 volts at a time then when it hits 7 volts it drops right back down to about .5 then slowly starts climbing again??? i have no idea whats going . how can i test if the coil is faulty? what should i do!

I have a 1979 frame from a Yamaha. It has a frame number of 2J2-021010 with a date of 1979. I believe the frame is from a 500, but not sure. Thought looking up a frame number would be easy, but can not find any assistance. Does anyone know where to find this information on a vintage Yamaha frame?

my xt125x ignition barrel is completely nakered, and have to use a screwdriver to turn on the ignition, all the front casing is missing, so if anyone could give me a link perhaps to an online shop/store so i could buy a new barrel and a set of keys, that would be grate, thanks in advance

Hi, I just bought a DTR 125 2006. I am getting the restrictors in the speedo and the inlet manifold sorted today. I was just wondering where is the best place online to buy a DEP full exhaust system for this bike? or if anyone knows the best place offline in ireland? thanks in advance
