hello there. i have a 2003 dt125r and i noticed that it takes a long time to warm up. it doesent go too much further than the 'C' on the temp gauge after a ride of a few miles is this normal or is something wrong. help is appreciated thanks =]

i bought a Yr200 Yamaha dtr125cc (derestricted) and i need to get a new sterring lock barrel i only received the ignition and the fuel keys and i want to use the steering lock..... heres some pics of the bike.... but i aint got any pics of the steering lock sorry. Hi! I rebuilded an old 1987 yz 250. Now it works fine, but i'd like to change the plastic with a new one kit. Is it possible? Someone told me to look for the ufo plastic kit, but i found nothing which can be compatible with my bike. I thought to change the frame, in order to avoid the plastic compatibility problem. But do you know a recent frame where my engine can fit well? I hope you can help me... thanks a lot! Hey all. new member to this site. I have a 85 XT 350 that I'm having some elecrical issues with. First, I have a hot battery. Second, with the ign/acc on, the blinkers work but no other lights. With the bike running the headlight works but the tail light and brake light (front and rear) do not work. 2 weeks ago the rear brake light was working fine but front never has (owned bike 2 years now), figured it was front switch. Tore into it last week and front switch works if I use a jumper wire to put power to connection at 2 prong plug under/behind headlight. I don't have a manual or wiring schematic. Any and all assistance would be appreciated, and yes I'm shopping for a man…

I am having a bike with the magneto system, the electrics are run off the engine... My headlights are working probably a quarter of their full brightness. In this magneto system that i am not to familiar with what it going wrong in the system????? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanx.

I have real problems starting an xt350, it takes about 15 mins of kicking to get her going, and hot or cold makes no difference. Tearing my hair out here, any help would be great.

I have a bad misfire with my xt350 under load/full throttle, have replaced plug coil & lead, any advice welcome. Thinking it may be a problem with cdi?

Hello. I have a xt660r, but it is to tall for me, how can i make it lower? what do you recomend? try to rise the front fork 3cm, put the rear shock on the lower regulation? i know that there are some kits to rise/lower thr rear suspencion, but that is too radical. Thaks.

as ive been hitting the trails quite regular now on my R reg dt125r ive noticed after going through some deep puddles/revers etc. water appears to have gotten into the gearbox oil somehow and the oil goes a white/transparent colour. can anyone suggest where it might be getting into the engine. ive had the sidecases of the engine and it doesnt seem able to get in from there. has anyone experienced/resolved this problem before? thank you rich

Whats the largest size for rear tire,I love how my rear is metric and my front standard.Front is 2.75 and looks like it can take a 3.00.Wonder if rear will take a 4.00 before rubbing? Buck 2003 xt 225 ,K&N,exhaust mod,jetted..

Hi I'm replacing the head gasket on my '98 XT600 and wanted to check whether I can use the T mark on the flywheel which is TDC for timing the camshaft. The manual assumes you'll have the whole engine in bits and referrs to aligning the dot on the camchain drive sprocket with a mark on the case. The problem of course is that this is all behind the flywheel and I dont really want to have to remove the left hand cover and flywheel to get access. CHeers Karl

ive been converting a 78 dt175 back to street legal and when i bought it the tack cable was cut but the end is still in the crackcase and sealed up if tried yanking this thing and cannot get it out. Not sure if theres a trick to it or what but can someone please shed some light on this for me and help me with instructions on how to get it out? thanks. sorry couldnt get a picture

I recently bought a 2005 DT50 with a bent and split side stand mount. Im thinking bending it back and then welding up the split in the plate. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does anyone know if there is a centre stand available for this bike or for another that may fit? I see it has mountings on the frame. I cant think of any other options so would like to hear if you have any other ideas. Thanks Rob

I am looking to replace the rear fender on my 92 WR200, does anyone know if the rear fender from a YZ of the same vintage will fit? My original fender is full of holes from the tail light and turn signals and I would like to create a cleaner look than the original setup and would like to find a fender that has no holes from the factory and am hoping a YZ fender will do the trick.

Hi, i just bought a Very mint Condition 1999 Yamaha DT125R LC for £850, Its done 5434 miles in 10 years From what ive Read some peoples DT are pritty slow in 1st and 2nd but mine is Still pritty much Restricted and Flys through all the Gears, You can feel the Powervalve open at 5,500Rpm and through to 9,000rpm Here some Pictures (sorry for Bad quality will take some with my Camera next time im at my Dads)
