I have fully restored a DT50 LC with OEM parts from the USA. Originally the bike was a project for my daughter when she was 14 to learn basic bike mechanics and restore the bike with me, but she was not interested. She is 18 now and the bike is under cover in my garden and is in need of a loving home. MOT until December 2010 and Tax until end March 2011. Unfortunately I don�t know what its worth so if anyone can advise I would really appreciate it. Hi all, have a prob with me tdr 125..runs fine for 15-20 mins at 65mph then suddenly loses power and will not pickup even changing down through gears....after couple of mins stationery bike revs and seems ok but whe i put in 1st and lift clutch it dies again...leave for another 2 mins and im back on me way....iridium br9es plug seems ok and no overheating.....my local bike repairers seem clueless !...please help! Hi I have a yamaha dt125r 1992 plate the wiring loom looks so dodgy And the engine looks newer than the bike. Engine code starts with 4bl Can anyone tell me what year the engine is Also does anyone know where I could buy a new wiring loom or at least good condtion old parts. Id keep the wiring loom as it is but the igntion doesnt work and it dosn't have brakelights or idicators. Should i get a wiring loom to match the engine or the rest of the bike. Also the bike is not running at the momemnt and I carnt seem to tell why. Hello my name is Brian and I was wondering if anyone knows how much fork fluid I have to put in outer chamber of the forks. I have already filled and bleed the inner chambers of each fork, replaced the seals, and now I have to fill the outers, but I am unsure on the quantity. I have a ratio rite so if anyone knows a cc measurement that would be great. I do not have a service or owners manual for it. Thanks in advance, Brian

hi everyone hope this may be of some use to someone,came across it by accident. riding my dtr125re,2004 model it started losing power,lights dimmed,would not go above about 50mph,finally got home,switched it off,would not switch back on,checked all connections,turned out to be a dirty connection on fuse located next to starter solenoid,when connection was dirty the neutral and oil light flickered when ticking over,dimmed when revved,i thought this was a main fuse but bike still ran with fuse removed,so anyone having problems with losing power or electrical problems its something to look at. cheers mark.

He I hope you guys can help me I'm new to working on bikes and have this problem I can't figure out. Last weekend I rebuild my front brake caliper. I bought the bike a few months back and after riding for about 20-30 min the brake would lock up. I found there was a'lot of rust in the system so I flushed it out and installed all new seals and purged the lines of air. I was out riding it today and it started locking up again. I hope somebody out here with one of these bikes may have an idea on what to do with it.

Hi Does anyone know if there is a website somewhere that lists the correct paint code for the DT? I need to get a tank sprayed up in the colours in the pic, but the tank I have has already been resprayed a different colour, so I don't have a sample to match to. I have a 1975 yamaha dt175, the bike is in great shape; I bought it from the original owner who kept it in his garage, it only has 1300 miles on it. When I bought it, the bike started on the second kick and was immediately drivable. He did tell me that the petcock had begun to leak, and so the fuel line was constant to the carburetor. He said it would be easy to fix, just an o-ring. I took off the cover(the one that says on, off, res)and replaced the rubber gasket with the four holes in it and i had to configure my own o-ring to go around the turn knob, but I am still having a leaking problem. Hi, I've got a 2008 WR250F and, apparently, there is a restriction on the throttle opening.
