any help would be great on this im about to buy a 1992 tzr 125 half faired back sides do these come half faired back in the day or fully faired ? also if they did do half faired will the rest of the full fairing fit on it ?? going to pick bike up tommorow any help would be great got told it was restricted aswell any easy derestricts ??? decent cans etc etc

hi all, im curently looking for a tzr servo, cant find 1 anywhere!!! its the cogs inside i need and no dealers can go that in depth into the microfiche, will a tzr 250 or dtr/dt be the same cogs??? iv noticed theres a 3rd wire holder on the servo and there isnt on other servos. will the gears be the same??? thanks allot

Hi all im new , was on the off chance wondering if anyone knew anything about this model. I have a parts catalogue buts thats it im needing a piston kit for it as im doing a top end rebuilt but yamaha want £170 for the piston alone then I have to buy rings,circlips etc. I know some of the measurments 56mm piston i think the stroke could be 50.7mm but im not sure. Any information or links to items would be gratfully appreciated.

Hi my first time on here and was wondering if anybody could help me ive just finished a restoration project my 2rk tzr and its been running and riding like a dream when yesterday it was riding fine all through the rev range and when I went to give it some when it reached the powerband @7000rpm it started spluttering and the revs wouldn't clime its completely fine when in neutral just reving engine but as soon as you go round block on it its spluttering in every gear. The power valve is pinned fully open and I have noticed it is leaking round the pv caps on each side of the barrel. Please help

Hi, my son has a TZR 125 with 4JB motor. He just recently bought the bike. The bike used to run reasonably well but tops out at about 65mph. I'm sure it can do better than that! lately the bike wont rev to full revs in any gear but gets to about 10000 rpm and then starts cutting back. No matter what we do we cannot get it to rev properly. Checked the carb, checked the power valve settings, spark plug etc. No Joy. also noticed that the power valve only starts to open at 9000 rpm but does open fully if you can get the bike to rev. Any ideas?

Hello i have a TZR 125 1990 2RK, im looking to set the YPVS. Could anyone tell me what models of the DT will fit my bike and any others . I have which i believe needs the control box ( not sure if its the 3 wire or 5) So does anyone know how to gain the control box or could help me out ? Thanks Guys

Hello!! im new to this forum and i need a little help. I own an 87 tzr 250 1kt, i believe is the same as the 2ma, well i live in Ecuador and it is nearly impossible to find parts for this bike, my bike needs everthing that has to do with electrical including the magneto( i believe thats what its called), and a friend has an inline 4 600cc motor with all the electrical, and i know it will not fit but he said that we could make it sit lower, even if that is possible im wondering if the bike would hold that much added weight and torque? or if anyone could help in telling me what other motor might fit. I will appreciate any help

Hey. I'm brand new to this forum. It seems to have alot of users with alot of great info. I'm looking for new or used, full or partial exhaust for my 87 tzr 250. I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Local places would be incredible but of course online i'm sure is my best bet. I'm also looking for a carb rebuild kit or ideally if anyone offers new replacement OEM spec carbs that would be golden. If anyone has any advice on where to find either please let me know. I currently ride my GSXR but my girlfriend is getting her license this weekend so i'd like to get the TZR in full order for her to ride soon. Thanx.

Hey all. Well I'm 15, turning 16 on 1st January, so have decided to get a motorbike. Now my Dad has a Kawasaki ZX9R so I am not exactly a complete novice lol! I know the basics of turning it on and off, changing gears etc... Anyways, so I'm thinking of getting a TZR 50 and I just wondererd what you all think of them? How good are they for beginners? Hi guys, I just got a brand new arrow exhaust for my tzr 50 04 model and it's made it slower than when I had my stock exhaust I have NO clue whatsoever what's gone wrong or I've done wrong, Help anyone?

hi i have a tzr 50 05 and it wont start ive got a spark got new spark plug but it doesnt seem like it wants to combust but it does try startin but wont idle im realy stuck now if any one could hep cheers

Hi all, I am currently rebuilding (rescuing) a 93 (ish) TZR125R Belgarda but am really struggling to find any official / Haynes etc type workshop info. I know that they were built in Italy and are most popular in Germany but its a nightmare to find any technical info out Cheers!

Hi there, I just wondered if anyone had any advice about buying a cheap TZR125? I've got the option of buying a cheap 1992 TZR125 from a friend of a friend of a friend etc... I've just got my CBT and want to get my full license (got a DAS course booked early August) so I want to get a run-around to get some practice in. Unfortunately if I buy it, it'll be on the promise that the bike is OK as I can't get to where it's being stored to test drive etc. It's got 4 months left on MOT. I've been told "it smokes a little but all 2 strokes do". Has anyone got any experience of an old TZR125 and if there are any pitfalls/problems I should ask about? Much appreciated
