Would a DT400 barrel piston crank and rod fit the 250 crank cases??? I know all the usuall tuning mods but the bigger the bore the better the starting place! I've solved one huge problem, i've reduced the weight by 50kgs at least by having a super light TZR 125 chassis, and some more to loose with spoked 17" alloy rims onway. I need to get Gibson to make a exhaust for it as its now a road going bike,i want one that fits properly!!! I noticed the expansion on a trial/dirt bike of the DT's era/type has a longer front pipe before the expansion than a road bike.... does that affect the rev range of torque? ie make it happen lower down compared to roa…

Ok here is the Problem i just bought a 2001 600r and i was changing the oil and everything when i decided to cut off the front turn signals to get some flush mounted ones. when i cut off the front turn signals all the back ones do now is flash fast and both flash when i turn on the signals like warning lights. i went to put on the new signals and they all flash like warnings when i try to turn the turn signal on. also on my bikes dash the turn signal indicator doesnt come on when the flashers come on. please let me know what the problem is.

hi, i m a new on this forum i have bought a yzf 600r 2006 and i have a turn signal issue i have replace the front blinkers with some LED flush mount they have 2 wires one black and one yellow i try to conect them i have 3 wires on my bike i conect them but the only thing that i get when i try to use the switch is both of the blinkers they work in the same time .when i hit right left and right they blinking in the same time and same when i hit left, i don t know what to do can u guys give some advice thanks.

Hi, i have a Yamaha TW "04" 125cc, the problem is i can start the bike when cold but when its warm and tun the bike off and start it again its as if there is no electricity, i have no lights or anything on. Any help is most appreciated Thank you

Hello! I am searching for two parts. Is there any chance to get an aftermarket case carrier for the sides for a 2005 Yamaha YBR 125? I am living in Germany and they only have two words for me: "No way". The other question: I have noticed the side stand of the 2007 YBR 125. Is it possible to get and mount it to a 2005 YBR 125? Guess the answer in Germany: Yes, you are right: "There is no side stand for a 2005 YBR 125 in the catalouge"... Thanks in advance Martin

I just purchased a '74 TX500 this past weekend. My first question on the forum is probably going to be the most dumb... does the longer portion of the petcock handle point to "off" or does the shorter side of the handle point to "off" if I want to prevent fuel from draining into the carbs? Alright Folks ! I am after a bit of advice on tyres. I have a Yamaha FZ6 Fazer S2 ABS with the following wheel sizes : Front - 120/70/17 Rear - 180/55/17 The tyres that came on it are Dunlop Sportmax D252 & D252F.........Are these tyres any good for all round weather / commuting etc. or is there something better that you guys/gals would recommend. I have been told that Michelin Road Pilot 2's are meant to be good but thought I would get the opinion of yourselves. I am basically after something for commuting in all weathers (not so much of the ice and snow though), so need something that is good in wet and dry. Also, do you know of any online shops …

Hi , I have got to 45,000 miles on my 09 XJ6 and in need of another set of tyres . I commute and my aim is to beat the jams to work and not get there as quick as possible so I am not hard on tyres and can get 10,000 miles out of a set , however the Michelins on at the moment have done 5,000 and although they are not worn out do not have much left and rear has a slow puncture . I have had 2 sets of Bridgestone BT021 and got 10,000 but the bike is not great on those and the front tyre wears badly on one side and was illegal before the rear on both sets . I have also had Avon Storms and again got 10k out of them and I did quite like them but felt like trying another br…

Hi guys, started to get down and dirty with my TZR 125, as its all new to me I got a couple of questions - The tyre sizes in the Haynes give as 90/80-17 on front and 100/90-18 on the back. Wanting to replace them both at some stage, but every time I search for tyres to fit it comes up with the back size as being a "front" fitment. Is this the norm for a 125? And is it possible/worthwhile to fit a bigger tyre on the rear? Many thanks in advance!

Hi all Just doing up a TZR 125 on an E plate. Frm the pictures I have found these bikes were sold without the full fairing set by the dealers, I was trying to find any photos showing a black bike so I can get the correct decal set for this model. Wiring problems

Has anyone got ideas why the coolant is mixing with the gear oil i just put in my tzr as i cant source the problem thanks lloydy tzr 125

Hellow, My TZR does around 150kmph. I need to get bit more. So anyone can help how I can get that? I mean any modification to the engin or current system?? (Like fit another coil pack or something) please help..... thanks..
