Hi All, I've got a 1999 YZF600R and I can't get hold of any touch up paint for love or money. My local Yamaha dealer claims it's been discontinued. Please can you let me know where I get hold of some touch up paint in the UK? Cheers Mark

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and wanted to say hello. I'm in the process of buying a 06' royal star tour deluxe. Does anyone know if I will be able to install a stereo on it? Is there an after market setup? Or can I buy something from yamaha.

mt03. I realise that its not an ideal tool for the job, but its what i currently own. I am looking to do some touring sooner rather than later and was wondering has anyone done some serious miles on one. I would have to fit some heated grip and a box but would there be anything else to consider.

thinking of buying fazer to tour 2up and still have the fun of sports bike for solo blasts,test rode it and loved it but pillion seat made girlfriends arse ache!!does anyone know of a company that makes a comfy seat to replace pillion seat,then when riding solo will take off to replace with single seat cowl?

As said before i am planning to buy a Fazer 1000 Has anyone out there ever used one for touring purposes as i am hopeing to do so once i have sorted girlfriends numb bum issue after recent test ride. If so would you recomend this bike ? Cheers

Hi, back in July 06 I had an accident. (can no longer ride a bike) The engine just decided to die as I dropped the throttle off during an overtaking manuever, when a car was coming the opposite way. The motor cutting out made the rear wheel slide (as if siezed), I managed to bring it back under control but to late and clipped the oncoming car. Anyway I know that since my accident and after 23+ complaints in the USA that Yamaha did a recall saying the throttle position sensor (TPS) needed replacing under warranty and that this was not dangerous.... tell me and a few others that!! Has anyone installed the oem heated seat for the Tracer 700 that can provide a good walkthrough?

I'm thinking of trading my klx 250s for a 1996 yamha yzf 600 + some cash. I've been riding daily for a couple months but I've never riden a street bike and am wondering what to expect from this bike. Any adivice will be helpfull

Hi, bit of an odd one this, as I think that the TRX has started to make a weird ticking noise at tick-over, hard to say with the load-ish pipes. Has anyone else had a similar problem, I think it could be the cam-chain rattling, it's unlikely to be top end (valves) as these were sorted (at great expense) less than 10,000 miles ago. Any advice, info would be great. Thanks Chris

Hi there lads and lasses, i have registered on here for my dad as he has just purchased a trx850 from a bloke who has had it in his shed for 10 years. Its not cost him a pretty penny but he seems to have a few problems which he would like advice on. He has 3 other bikes and is still mad keen at the age of 63. If anyone can help or has contact numbers of specialist who can my dad would be very gratefull. Thinking bout trying to get hold of a half decent trx 850. Was just wondering if anyones got one (or had one) that'll let me know what they thought of it in terms of everyday useability etc. And also and expensive common problems anyones experienced (so I can avoid them). Anyones opinion or help would be appreciated.

hi all. im darren from newcastle,australia, i own a trx 850 & would like to fit one of those tank mounted camera brackets. to order this unit i need to know what has the same space bolts on a fuel cap the same as mine??????? my spacing is 35mm from the centre of each bolt. it mounts using 3 bolts & the space from the 2 outer mounted bolts are 63mm..,... http://www.sportbikecam.com.au/ this is the braket im talking about. so i need to find out what other bikes have this bolt spacing cause my bike dosnt register, cheers all daz from aust

I'm sort of pushing around the idea of buying one of these. I've been offered it at a pretty good price, and it looks as if it would meet my needs (commuting, interspersed with the occasional tour, one up) Anybody got anything to say about this model, or experiences/advice to offer? Would be grateful for some guidance. Just remember, I'm not really interested in neck snapping acceleration or attempting the land speed record.

Hi, just took delivery of a TRX850 (1996) which run perfectly when the dealer started it up on Friday. Tried to start it and when I took my hand off the throttle it died not to be revived. I waited until today to try and start it again as I thought that I may have flooded the engine. It still has not started. I have tried everything. Using choke. Pulling in the cluthc when starting it. Having it on the sidestand and not on the sidestand. I have even prayed to the gods for help. Has anyone god any ideas? I am going to contact the dealers tomorrow and see what they have top say.

Any suggestions of good tyres for 1996 TRX? Only just bought it with mich macadam 100x (F120/60zr17 R160/60zr17). I See on one web site that they are crap but they feel OK to me, even when squared. Must be sticky, well able to lean / cheap, last millions of years. Always expect too much. Current quote £150 pair.

hello all, hail from the states but strong roots in ireland, had my divvy as you all call it for about 4 months now and am looking for some parts its a 95 yamaha seca II or diversion, im looking for tires, preferably some a little bigger if possible,plastics for over the engine,different mirrors,and exhaust, also seat, i would really appreciate it if anyone could help,lost an uncle last year whos life was biking and im dedicated to finishing his ride if you catch my drift.
