I just bought one for the front of the Radian. It arrived today. Seems nice, if not a touch heavy, but compared to my almost bald, weather checked dunlop, it is great! I'm not looking for hyper-performance, but I'm hoping it works well in the rain. Anyone?

Hi all I am thinking of upgrading me helmet from my AGV Stealth to a Shoei X Spirit or 1000. The main reason is I want a quieter helmet (I wear plugs anyway) and for comfort, as I ride about 300 miles a week, all year round. Has anyone got any experience of these helmets, as the reviews I have read seem to suggest that the 1000 is quieter than the the X Spirit? Thanks for any advice!

Looking for some help here: My local dealer has a sparkling almost-new R1 for sale at $6700. It a blue 2000 R1 has 950 miles. It has not been down. The previous owner never rode the bike; garage queen. My question is that I am a relative novice rider. I do plan to take riding/track lessons, AND I plan to ride on weekends VERY responsibly. Do you think: a) the 2000 R1 is a good model? this is good choice, or should I go with a R6? Thank you in advance, JOHN

On my end can? but I took it out last night, but to be honest I dont notice any diffirence at all! (speed wise), Y'see it's a straight through pipe anyway It's a bit more noisier but thats it, should I just put it back in, 2 mates reckoned the wadding was strangling the power, but it's me who's riding it not them!!. And personally I dont feel any change apart from like I say some more noize, it's not deffining loud just a bit. Btw.....How can you get an Akrapovic/Micron can, I thought It would be either one or the other :?

Hi, I'm looking for some possible causes of why my signals work perfect sometimes then sometimes dont work at all, or need to be held in the direction i am going to stay blinking. I just replaced the signal unit this morning after ordering a new/used one off ebay and it is still doing the exact same thing. the bulbs look great also. could it be something with the ignition? anyways, if anyone has had a similar issue or can just think of a possible cause i would appreciate any guess. thanks alot!

Hi, first post from a new member I passed my practical on an SR125 and loved how reliable it was when I had it. Now after a while I've found myself with the opportunity of buying a thundercat. I discovered it by talking to the owner at a social gathering and he mentioned that he used to ride a thundercat. So I asked him to show it to me and at the bottom of the garden under a tree, from under a cover was unveiled a mint looking sliver/yellow thundercat. Bone stock from what I could see (apart from a yolk cover and a tank pad). This guy had buggered his shoulder up about 4 years ago and found that he just couldn't operate the controls of the bike safely enough to w…

Hello, I have a bit of a problem. After changing the engine oil (SAE 10W40 Castrol) the clutch is slipping. The bike has run 30.000 miles, do i need new plates, or another engine oil? There is some slack on the clutch-cable. Appreciate any help. kr, Sicco.

I bought my 94 SecaII last October from a motorcycle enthusiast. This guy had bought it from a husband and wife and the wife rode the SecaII and her husband had another bike so I'm pretty sure that my bike was not abused (as it was ridden by an older woman). The guy I bought it from did some work to it such as: jet kit and carb rebuild (dunno what stage jet kit), K&N Velocity Stack intakes for each carb, he replaced the vacuum fuel pump with an electronic one that would normally go on an ultra-light aircraft - he said he matched the PSI of the electronic pump exactly (somewhere around 4 PSI) and also installed a Vance&Heines 4into1 exhaust. He only put about 500 m…

Hi again guys OK......i've ordered the headers for my FZR 1000, will let you all know how it runs once fitted!! Now, what i'm on for is suspension advice!! Can you tell me if there are any Yam forks that will slot straight in? What about rear shock?? I have an RSV Mille with K-tech front end and Wilbers racing shock at the rear which really highlights the age of the suspension on the Yam!!! Not looking for WSB spec stuff even just a more modern set up would be great! many thanks guys.......................
