Hey everyone, I just recently got into motorbiking and passed my CBT at the weekend and Im now a proud owner of a YZF-R125! Need some advice on keeping it secure, Ive been looking at chains and disc locks to tie the bike to a metal post I have outside where I live. I have heard that even though these chains are meant to be strong, it seems they are not completely safe against a decent pair of bolt cutters. There are these chains that have a disc lock on the end and I can imagine these are more ideal as even if some little oik got through the chain, the disc lock would remain on the bike and stop it from being pushed away. Also, is it better to chain the back wheel o…

I'm not sure which counrty but it was supplied by a UK dealer and has MPH clocks etc should I avoid this bike....? If not is there something I should be looking for or need to find out before commiting to purchase.

I have an imported 'F' reg Yamaha FZRR400 that has handbook/manual in japanese. Can anyone 'walk me through' cleaning/maintenance of the carburettor? The bike is idling at 6000 revs so have decided to clean them. There is one butterfly wheel that appears to be stuck rigid. Any information/advice very welcome.

Hey guys (and gals) Looking to change the stock indicators of my bike to LED and I was hoping to gain the advise of anyone here who had already done so !! If anyone can reccommend a good supplier that would be great ! I found this one that looks ok. www.intobikes.co.uk ( sorry to mods if Im not meant to post web addresses ) I know for most LED conversions you need to use a different Relay but do I need two relays? (one for front, one for back) ?? sorry, probably a dumb question !! Cheers all. PS: anyone in Scotland going to the Scottish Motorbike Show at Ingleston, Edinburgh in March ??

hi all, first thread here , although i have found this forum damn useful reading up about the YBR125.. anyhow, wanted to ask y'all a quick question. the factory indicators on a ybr are 10w, according to the owners manual, but aftermarket ones, by oxford, are 21w.. would that be fine, considering its only a 11w increase, and bearing in mind that indicators aren't constantly on. also the wiring on the harness seems like it can handle it. any opinions? (btw, im changing to these, because ive got a set of spotlamps, and couldnt find anywhere to mount 'em - but the normal indicator positions - as a temporary fix, the indi's are cleverly mounted on using sellotape …

Anyone know how long (end-to-end) the throttle cables are on a FZR600R, the one with the clipons above the top yoke? I've fitted different bars to my Ace, and the original cables are a bit on the tight side at full lock, and saw a FZR600R in the local dealer, and they looked like they might be just what I need. End fittings are the same on both bikes, so just need the length (not often I have to say that!!! ) any help appreciated stormy

Hey everyone, I have a strange question, as Much as I love my xj6n there is one thing that I am not keen on & that is the front forks, is it possible to fit the forks of an fz8. I know this is a question likely to be a one off, but I don't know where to start with regards to looking for measurements or if mounting points would be the same thanks for any help or any comments.
