Hi All, I have currently, just been given a 1990 DTR125, its originally from Switzerland, it was purchased by a friend of mine when we were working out there back in 1998, and since bringing it back on a trailer in 1999, its never been used. Its been stored in a garage for the last 5 years due to work commitments overseas. Anyway, back to the bike. I have a friend who has got the bike up and running, and tells me I have been given a great bike. I have ordered a new air filter for it, and need to get a new battery. What is the going price for a new battery.? The bike has the push start. (sorry if all 125's have this, im not too up on bikes at the minute)…

Hi Just joined up....have been running GSXR 1000 K1 for last 3 years and just px for 2004 R1 in Lava Red.. Had dyno done yesterday 149....so quite pleased...need to change cans for a bit more noise!!! Regards Steve R

Hi all, Just bought a Yam 2003 R6 last month after passing my DAS. It's my first bike (well, if you exclude swapping my Astra car for a mint Honda NSR 125 many years ago) after destroying the NSR over the course of a year and a half, I gave biking up. To be honest I didnt really start as I didnt have any proper gear at the time. Now, Im older, wiser and have a wifey who wouldnt let me get the bike unless I was kitted out in the right gear (leathers, boots, decent lid etc etc) I know the weather has been rubbish here in scotland recently but I did manage to get out for a few days, and I just wanted to say that BIKING IS FANTASTIC !!! cant believe I left it …

hello im from bulgaria,and im sorry for my bad engl.i hope you will understend me. and my problem is.. i bay yamaha yzf 600r thundercat 98 year.the bike looks cool and drive perfekt.but when i push him hard on first and second gear put him on one wheel and burnout my temp goes to 100 dagrees almust near red line.i push the bike like that for max 15-20 min. and out side is winter around 5-10 dagrees the time is realy cold. i chek some parts did they work.i chek the 'termostat(i hope i use right word)" i chek the water pump both work perfekt.my bike are fuul with antifrize. did that is normal or if not what can be the problem :S if you need to know more info a…

Well, fedup of cars pulling out on me, just had a taxi miss me by about an inch, need get a camera mounted to my helmet! Next car to pull out on me is loosing it's mirrors!The only issue with GoPro cameras is that the battery isn't the best, especially if using the button/app as well. I have seen that you can get 3rd party leads to hook it directly to my battery to power it whilst my bike is running, however I want it waterproof really, to a point. Can anyone recommend a good offical/3rd party case I can put my Hero 4 in to protect it from rain but allow me to plugin the microUSB to charge it whilst riding?

the xj600(pre divvie model) i have is a bit of a pain in the rs to start when hot eg. riding round town in traffic. when cold it starts up in an instant but then once warm you have to turn it over a good bit till it fires, any ideas would be appreciated

question for all you guys out there , ok i brought a r6 strait outa the show room . loved it to bits then about 2 months of owning it i was knocked of ( gutted ). so i managed to get al the parts and rebuild it myself , as it was only plastics and tank , lights so on . got it back to near enuf mint apart from the swing arm had a scuff but i got a new 1 and never fitted it as the scuff was to minor for such a big job, then ...... i dropped my bike in my garage only bent the peg and scuffed the tail unit . so i got a new tail unit but it has some very lightn scratches on the under tray . now im thinkin oh its got this mark that mark so on. am i being 2 fu…

need to now what the compression should be in my 93 yzf750sp! I can start the bike with the choke on and giving it a little gas. But once i take my hand off thr throttle it dyes out. and adjusting idle screw doesnt change either

Hi All i own an 51, (reg in 1/1/2002 though) red r6 its completly standard other than adjustable levers. ive only owned it for 8 months but i do mainly use it for work and now i just want a bandit or something of that sort, as stupid as its sounds its too good to be used just for that plus a bandit would be cheaper for parts etc..., it is a stunning bike and near perfect condition with only 13,000 miles, has full history up to 10,000 and had 3 owners. so i just wondered what sort of price could i expect to sell it for as i cant seem to find may red ones for sale. if you can give me any advice i thank you in advance.

I am new to riding a street bike and was wondering how often one should change the oil? The dealer seems to think 5000 miles between oil changes it just fine? Any thoughts? Also do most bikes burn oil and require topping off?
