Hello everyone! Ive just taken deliver of a nice 2006 R6, its my first road bike so im looking for some advice!! Not riden it yet as ive got my test booked for 2 weeks time so not got a licence. Ive been riding Motocross for a couple of years so have an idea how to ride, obviously this is completely different so im going to take it very easy until im a bit more experienced, don't want to damage my pretty bike or my pretty legs! I was reading some reviews and it seems everyone is saying that the bike is missing a steering damper. Is there any point of me getting one for just road riding or is it a waste of time? hello every one from athens greece! new in the forum and i need some help... the bikes i have had until know are a fazer600 (s1), a kawa Z750, and lately a tdm900... sudenly 4 months ago i had an accident, and my tdm...is realy DEAD! know that i am (at last) up again, i am looking for my next bike. the use of it will be, weekend rides and trackdays. the thing is that i whant to re-introduse myshelf to motorcycles with something "easy going" (compered to the tdm). so i'm thinking about the mt-03. is it any good for the use i whant it for or i'll be desapointed? thx in advance for your time and answers! (and sorry for my english!)

Hey folks ive just passed my test and ive purchased a 2002 yzf-r6. gave the bike a good check over yesterday but theres no cooliant. what should i use? some people have said just use water but dont know if that is the best option your suggestions will be most appreciated. cheers

Hi everyone, I've got a 2007 R6 which has done 13k miles. I've started to notice that the bars are very "buzzie" or "vibey" over 8000 rpm. Im getting concern about this now to the point where I'm about to part ex it for a new Kawasaki can any of you guys tell me if your R6 does this too? Could it just be a characteristic of the bike? Hi all, new to the forum and back to bikes after a long abscence..........Going to look at a 2003 Fazer in about 3 hours...would love any hints as to what to look out for.....it's one owner (female) 6,000 miles with fsh, has belly pan and few other bits and sounds a bargain at 2,400 euros....any quick replies appreciated. cheers Gerry Moore

Hi, i have finally got my dream bike,after wanting one since 1999! its a 2002 model, only 7500 miles from new,immaculate! The only problem is,im only 5 foot six,and i can just touch the floor with the very tip of my toes. Im going to have the monoshock put on its lowest setting shortly , hopefully that will lower it a bit. Am i right in thinking there is a bracket on the bottom of the monoshock,called a dog leg that can be changed for a smaller one to lower it further? Looking at the bike , it looks like if you loosened the bars bolted onto the frame that supports the back end of the bike , and the back of the exhaust, you could lower the whole of the back of the bike. …

Can't find one anywhere - both undertray and/or seperate tail tidy wanted for 99 thundercat! Either im not looking properly! Or they are scarcer than i first thought!

Have replaced ignition coil, (original one was faulty) but no life getting to coil,Traced wires all way through loom (no breaks) replaced magneto coils but still no spark,If i swop feed from 2 3 coil 1 4 coil sparks,guess i`ll have to try replacing cdi unless anyone cAn help with other options, cheers billy

Hi everyone i have just brought a 1998 r1 and i am haveing a few problems when i start the bike the rev counter flicks up to 7000 rpm for a couple of seconds the goes back down also petrol drips out of one of the pipes on the bottom of the fuel tank quite badly and the end of the pipe freezes Thanks for any help Tim.

Please help! R6 06, when i start it up sometimes its starts no probs and other times it starts and dies instantly, So i try again and i have to start it and hold on the revs otherwise it dies again. After a few seconds of revs its ok and will tick over...Its intermitent and doesn't do it all of the time. Its like it cant be bothered to start and tick over!!!

Hi all I've just put a mph clock on my fzr 600. It previously had original kph clock as it's an import. Will I need to change the speedo cable or anything else so it'll read in mph? Thanks for any help Regards Dan

hi can anybody help me. I was taking of speedo cover of to have a look at indicators etc and when i came to put back the cover i threaded to plastic thread. Me being me i was heavy handed. any help on what i could do to fix this problem. cheers

I have bought a 1988 (I think) FZ 750 that is missing the front and rear wheels + brakes, and the front forks + the tripple tree. This will be a "bastard" streetfighter bike eventually. The bike had FZR1000 92-94 fairing, wheels and brakes. And Im ofcourse hoping it has the engine too I will go down to the shop later today to write the codes down for posting here. I looking forward to knowing what I got, and yes of corse I got It VERY cheap Hope you guys can help me out, I have many more questions regarding the bike, but one thing at the time. Thanks. Regards. Hi all, I own a 1996 TZR 125 R. For some unknown reason my headlight has stopped working. The headlight flash function works but not the dipped or main beam. The bulb is definately ok. Is there a fuse that can cause this problem. Has anyone got a wiring diagram, all I seem to get is blank looks when I ask about manuals for it. Any help would be much appreciated.
