Ive been thinking about what i could do to modify my ybr 125 to make it look a bit better. Ive put a fly screen on which has improved it but i dont know what else i coud do any suggestions?

Ladies and Gentler-men, So, in April I bought my missis a 125 to get through her test - now she's decided she prefferes to sit on the back and let me do the thinking. Hi I just got a digital gear indicator from GPT. Has anyone put one on there FZ6S ABS? I could use a little help on which wires to connect it to. In the manual the wire diagram doesn't match the color that there instructions says. Can anyone tell me the colors of tacho and speedo pulce wires? Or have any photos foy connection; any help please.

Hello All, I am a brand new member, who just put a deposit down on a 1976 Yamaha XS360. I had been looking at new V-Star 650's, but I decided to go with this first as the insurance is $750 less for the first year, and if I drop her I am not going to break into uncontrolled sobs. I am purchasing the bike from a reputable, established dealer and it comes with a safety certificate. The purchase price is $1000.00 Canadian. Straight away I am looking for an owners manuel and a windshield. I welcome any comments, congratulations or otherwise. Mike

Which is the best... My opinion: I have to say i came off a thundercat and onto a 2006 gsxr 600 - WOW! I tried other bikes - but this one was astounding! I'm sorry to have moved away from yamaha and i am not biased to either model - i just thought this was the best overall 600cc i tried and i am very impressed with it in all aspects compared to other 600's - I will obviously remain a yamaha member as i am a great lover of their bikes - but this year the gixxer kicked serious ass! Just wondering what other experiences you may have had comparing or test riding other 600's as the market for them now is so competitive..... Cheers.....

Does anyone have a GYTR pipe on a 03/04 R6? Does it sound decent and or did you have to install a power commander?

Hi, I get bad finger tingling and numbness after an hours riding on the XJ6. The engine doesn't feel "lumpy" but the buzz through the handlebar grips is at a frequency that affects my hands. Googling has shown that HVMP in the US produces some "heavy" (17oz) bar end weights which are made out of stainless steel and considerably longer than the standard XJ6 bar ends. There is quite an impressive Youtube video that shows on a particular bike how effective the weights are in damping the vibration (or moving it to a different part of the rev range). Does anyone have experience of these bar ends and can vouch positively or negatively for the benefit in reducing "buzz" thro…

I just had my 06 R6 with 3490 miles on it, no engine mods and 3 months out of warranty take a crap! The dealer tells me it needs a new crank, rod and bearing(s)! This is my 3rd Yamaha sport bike and I have taken them all to the track(no stunting)and the first time anything like this has happened. Yamaha is willing to pay for the parts but no help with the $2100 labor bill! This has gottem me to do some research on other forums and it looks like it may be more common on this new R6 engine. I don't find it acceptable that a bike that still has the ORIGINAL tires with 3490 miles on it; cost $9,299 bucks, should need a new crank etc... Even if I spend the $2100 to get i…

I have bought a seondhand thunderace and after getting used to it, i decided to pull a few Gsssssss making a chav look a tit (he was boxing me in on every vehicle we passed on a dual carrigeway) so when the oppertunity arose i shot of and made him a distant memory. Any way now she sounds like she has blown exhust. still running OK but a few Db's lower. Have i poped something ???

Ihave a rather annoying problem with my Yamaha FZR 1000 EXUP it stalls at 4000rpm and i have gone through ta exhaust valve and the servomotor and ruled them both out. Maybee its the cid ignition but before i go out to buy a new one i would like to hear from anyone who has had similar problem and on how they fixed it. Someone told me it also could be the ignition coil. Hope to hear from someone qualified Ron
