I noticed a big hole right down to the armouring in my back tyre a few weeks ago so thought it would be a good time to set her in for the winter months and start the modding process! I'm now looking for a new set of tyres! Opinions please?

My brother-in-law has a 2000 Fzs fazer 600 and needs to improve the headlight bulbs. He doesn't want LED. He has looked at Osram. I tried the 150% brighter version on my XJ6s, but the plastic lens got really hot, so I've reverted to 5000k 55/60 H4. If anyone has any ideas for the Fazer, it would be appreciated. I have attached a pic of the Fazer's headlights.

hi people, just joined and have a problem. Does anyone know if a 1993 YZF750R imported from Germany is restricted through the Ignition Control Unit or by some other means, or if at all. Cheers.

I'm considering the FZ6 as a replacement for my GS650G. I'm 6'3", 240 pounds. I have no problem doing 500+ mile days on the GS. Any big guys out there on this bike? Is this bike comfortable for big guys on all day rides? Thanks much, Del

Hello All I've been riding a Honda CBF125 for the last year after doing my CBT, but i went yesterday and bought a 2007 Yamaha R6 R46, then booked my theory test. My question is what extra lessons or training would you recommend? I will hopefully have passed both my bike tests by the end of the month as thats when my insurance starts any advice would be helpful

Hi Guys This may be a stupid question but this is my first bike so I’m new to all this lol. Is there anything to check on a weekly or monthly basis on the bike?, i mean I know like a car you should check the brakes, tyre pressure, brake fluid etc. but what about the chain and the engine?. When i brought the bike the owner (motorbike dealership) gave it a service, but i was wondering if any of you guys check things weekly? Or what i should look out for? Cheers And again apologies if this is a dumb post

How much does a bike MOT cost in the UK? and does it work the same as a car MOT with a second try if it fails? Also how much are people paying or paid for a direct access course?

  12. Some times my bike will run on all four cylinders, you turn the bike off for a few moments and restart and she'll run on three cylinders!? I have checked the CDI its in order, the coils are A okey, number (3) three carb is back firing! What can be the problem and how can I rectify this problem?

  13. Hi, I've got a Yamaha TZR 125. I brought this recently and have had nothing but problems. But I've also only had problems after it's been to the garage to be looked at. The new problem is that you ride it for a couple of miles then it stalls. Then it doesn't want to start again with the kick start. ( although before it whent in the garage it started on a first kick, everytime). I was wondering if anyone could point me In the right direction. Thanks

I have noticed in the last few days that I am struggling to get my R125 over 63mph and that is at 80,000 revs in top gear. I can usually get 73mph out of it. Is anyone else having or had a similar problem and can anyone think of what the problem may be before I get it checked out?

Let my 1984 xs400 twin sit for a couple of months because of the rain in the Pacific Northwest. I recently started it up and let is run for several minutes while I went inside. When I came out, the bike had stopped running and I haven't been able to start it since. I pulled the plugs (real new) and they were black and oily looking. I cleaned them and the bike still won't start. The starter button won't begin to turn the engine over, so I am charging the battery now. Are there any other ideas out there that might help me get this thing started? Something to put in the gas tank in case the gas is bad, etc. Thanks for any help I get on this matter.

It is getting really cold here in Pennsylvania and I have noticed my bike getting harder and harder to start. This morning my bike wouldn't start. I have a 1988 FZ600u that is in pretty good shape and has had no problems starting until it has become cold outside. I just bought the bike this past summer and the bike was inspected and fixed up right when I got it. I replaced the spark plugs about 2 weeks ago and they didn't seem to help all that much. Do you guys think if I got a new battery that would help at all? What else could the problem be? Thanks.
