Ok so I have owned this lovely little thing for 5 weeks now. Almost covered 600 miles (dont get out much with the kids around) and I am booked in for the 6 week service next week and I thought I would give you all a quick review of the machine. Hi, I'm due to pick up my tracer sometime after Sunday - when it stops raining. Notice that yamaha have just added the accessories list to the website. Bit disappointed that the back rack cannot take a top box for touring. I'm sure aftermarket suppliers will make one but wonder if this will be able to be used with the ABS yamaha side luggage? Or if it will need a carving of plastic job to get the top box rack on which will then not fit with the side racks. I suppose Givi will also make side racks but the yamaha ones look smart. The yamaha rack will be be let doen with only a soft luggage option. Anyone have any thoughts?? cheers

hi I dropped me bike on a roundabout the other day. thanks to the bobbins it saved me further damage . it was cool and damp and the front just went. i passed during summer so this is the first time riding in cool weather. any experienced rider advice will be much appreciated to help build back some confidence on leaning into turns . i dont want to just ride in warm summer . i also dont want to drop me bike to gain experience. any advice will be much appreciated

Hi, ive only joined to the Forum today, have been looking about and reckon its going to be quite useful. first post of mine is a question. Being. i have recently in the last 2months purchased a 2009 Yammy R6, im looking to get a new exhaust onto it and have been advised by others to get a full system as opposed to an end can, reason being that by simply adding an end can it will not change the sound at all due to the silencer box. I quite have been looking and doing some homework on the Two Brother V.A.L.E Full system but can anyone give me any advice on what they think on this and any other exhaust manufacturers. I love the bike but I've been considering going the sport bike route. A little history, I grew up in Oklahoma and have been riding dirt bikes since I was 12. i have just been offered a 2002 triumph 600tt, yellow wiv yellow screen, full race exhaust (manifold- end can), solo seat conversion, 6K, tested yesterday, and all the standard stuff too for about 2k + my seat ibiza i payed £230 for what do u all thinki should do?? he says it is worth £4200 but i dont know what to do as i dont know how much bikes are worth??? help i have to go look this afternoon cheers

It's a 2002 Aerox but last year it was TOTALLY stripped and rebuilt to a VERY high spec.. what Im wandering is if i hook up like a ciggarette lighter 12v thing will i safely be able to plug my phone into it to charge while im riding? Hi I have just replaced my water pump case on my Yamaha aerox 50 is there aloud to be a tiny little gap at the top of the case we're it connect a to the bike

I bought my son a moved for his birthday and it just doesn't run right. It seems to go well for a day and then its performance goes down with every trip. We have looked at the clutch shoes, replaced the rollers with new, replaced the belt with new replaced the battery and spark plug with new. Every time its the same. Good improvement for first trip and then down hill with every trip. We are not bothered with top end performance we just want steady acceleration from start and consistent speed. There is a sports exhaust on it but l don't think this is entirely at fault. Also it does drink fuel like a demon. Can anyone give us some pointers please.

Hi all, I am wanting to get an aftermarket can for my 2007 R1. I have been thinking about getting an akropovic, yoshimura or leo vince. Does anyone have any advice on which is the best for the R1? I also wanted to know if it is essential to get the bike remapped if I bought one, if so, what I would need to purchase e.t.c? Thanks for you help.

Im looking for a aftermarket exhaust for my 2005 FZ6S. I was hoping to hear from someone who has changed the factory to two seperate cans & what effect it has on the bike??? Also what brands do you recommend? My local Yamaha dealer tells me that Leo Vinci exhausts are the way to go because they are supplied in a kit form so that factory warranty is not effected....... Also I'm looking for a tinted front screen(As Yamaha dont do a genuine one!) The screens are hard to get hold of in Aust so any help would be great......
