trying to get this thing going! ordered a new fuel pump and clean out carbs! put it all back together and when i try starting it, it dumps gas right out of the bottom carb hoses.also need to know what frame is interchangable with this one! thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Im New to this site. bikes and the whole bike sceen in general.I Race Stock cars but always wanted a bike. So I bought a 1994 Fzr 1000 genisis with the exup system.So i cant drive it because its winted but ive been told the exup valve needs to be cleaned or the cables adjusted because the bike doesnt pull properly at high rpm. I Have no idea what this valve is so does anyone have a step by step on how to clean this and adjust the cables or what else it could be. Any help would be great and also is there anything i should know about this bike, i guess im asking is there any common problems with the fzr 1000. Thanks Everyone

I had just changed my clutch cover gasket today and when I put it back on and together my clutch lever will now not go back into place it just stays as if Im still pulling it. Pictures below. Please help. I know this is prolly a stupid question. But Im more of a car literate guy than bike....

I am looking for side panels for my 94 xj600 to make the bike look alot more sporty. I have seen pictures of some on bikes on the net but cannot find a manufacturer of any sort. Hi guys 10 years ago I brought a nos 94 yzf 750 from wheels international. From day one it was gutless 120 mph tops I rode it for two summers covering 2000 miles until it started to over heat in town and evaporate the fuel in the carbs. Run fine on the open road though . I then parked it up and brought another bike. I recently thought that it's to good to part with so I set about getting it back on the road and trying to fix it's faults . I Found the exup valve stuck in the closed position, and the engine would not turn over fully , on digging deeper I found 4 stuck rings and 8 stuck valves and a sump pick up full of gasket sealer (from new) the head gasket was not blow…

i recently got my yzf, my first bike in seven years. anyways when it gets warmed up or hot in that 80c and up range it wants to idle at around 4k. if i'm riding it i can idle it down by applying the brake and puting a load on the motor. i have been told vacume leak, i cant seem to find one yet anyways. i did find one thing odd, when i took the tank off the 2 breather hoses off the float side of the carb were just laying there under the tank. one has a barbd fiting in it. the service manual shows the 2 of them going together into some sort of union, but does not show the union.

i got a 95 fzr600 and i was wondering what the gear / shift pattern is eg. 1 down 5 up or what not. my bike is extremely sluggish taking off untill about 4k rpm doon know what it could be bike has been sitting for two years just flushed gas changed plugs and oil and used carb cleaner. any ideas i just thoguht i could have the wrong gear set up ni my head and was shifting wrong. also my bike seeems to run exc. exept the taking off part idles right and everything.

Hey guys! I have an spark issue. Was opening there was a bypass for the ignition unit box. A way to give the ignition coils sparks using the timing??

hi i do not know what kind of octane rated fuel to be used in my FJR 1300 2007 model bike ? usually i had seen sticker over tank on my zx14 to use 97 + octane , ON FJR1300 there is none . Hope this fjr 1300 2007 model has knock sensors ? to give the benefit of 97 octane fuel ? the only change i noticed on shifting to higher octane is the IDLING rpm has dropped ? any info please ?

HI I'VE GOT A 98 THUNDERCAT IT'S STARTED MISFIRING AT 6000RPM AT IDLE AND 9000RPM UNDER LOAD (ALL GEARS) AT BOTH TIMES THE REV COUNTER NEEDLE DROPS TO ZERO FOR A COUPLE OF SECS THEN BACK UP? IT'S A CONSTANT MISFIRE AND WON'T ALLOW THE REVS ANY HIGHER SOME SORT OF INBUILT PROTECTION/FAULT CODE? I'VE FOUND A THREAD ON ANOTHER FORUM OF SOME ONE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM BUT NO ANSWERS? So after about 4 hours of working this morning, 5 separate trips to different stores for giant sockets, nuts/bolts/washers, I just finished putting it all together! I originally was just going for a naked look, but then it turned out to look more like a Ducati Monster (in my opinion and a few others' too). what ya reckon...took my time on these babies today

As most of you will agree, the early YZF 750 R is a beatiful yet girly coloured machine. Mine is the white with pink flashes here and there. I've seen some pics on the net of the pink bits in red and it makes all the difference. I got a quote from a local spray place at £450 - £900 depending on various scenarios. That is way out of my league. Anyone got any tips. Any direct sticker replacements to go over the pink? Cheers.

i will be doing my CBT on the 2nd of november and i was wondering once i have the cbt i can obviously ride a 125cc motorbike.... but can i drive on the motorway on a 125cc with L plates??? also i have a full uk car license ...... so i think i should be able to ride on motorway but my friend says i might not be able to go on the motorway with just the cbt and L plates..... so im confused.... also i want to take the A2 exam with restricst me from riding a 125cc for 2 years then i can ride anything...... but are there any special requirements for this?????? to do the A2 exam???? i am 19 years old and i have a full car license... just found this this site through google, so thought i would join. well here goes, a bit about me and my bikes. started of at the age of 6 doing school boy moto x till i was 16, then went up a class, finished that when i was 25 and then went on to doing enduros, in this time i also past my bike test at 17 and bought my self a lc 350 to run around on, my off road riding finished at the age of 36 as i was also running a nc30 and gsxr 750 slingshot so there was no way a could afford to do the off raod as well plus all my mates were getting road bikes, so thats the way i went, and got married and had kids, so money was tight, so nice to meet you all, will put photos of my bik…
