Which bike do you like? :? The R6 is still the bike I want cos' it's a Yamaha , but the 2005 Ninja just looks so amazing! 8) In terms of technology wise, the Ninja beats the current R6 hands down........but we'll have to see what the 2005 R6 has to offer.

I'm Lino (25 years old) and I'm from Croatia. I'm crazy about motorcycles, specialy about YZF R6. The 06. modell is great, but the 05. modell is my dream. I'm thinkin' about buying it after New Year 'cause this modell will still be available even though the new one is out. Peace 2 all Yamaha owners and all other motofreaks! P. S. I know my English is bad and I'm sorry about that. I'll try 2 B better! BTW: Is here anyone from Croatia?

Firstly hello everyone. Like a few in my position I'm just about to do my test and have decided on an R6. I've a few questions on what to look for and value etc My friend passed test and brought this bike a couple of months ago, he loves it even though it's nearly "caught him out" a couple of times. He paid £3000 for it including the new rubber it needed. It's a W-2000, 13k miles uk spec, 3 owner, very nice condition (in my opinion). I'm looking to buy it from him at about 16k miles and want to pay £2.5k (ish), this is given the fact it now has a couple of new scratches on it, he's going to have well had his moneys worth too. The only thing that bothers…

Hiya I've only had my bike for 2 weeks so still getting use to the characteristics, so i wanted to know if i have anything to worry about, When the engine has warmed up there is a tapping/ticking noise which i thought would be the tappets it seems to tap at almost the same speed whether im sitting at lights or riding round town doing 30/40 mph i'm not sure if it still taps when going faster 60 + because i can't hear with all the wind etc, ... a mate at work said it's not a problem and probably better to hear some tapping rather than none at all coz that would mean the tappets are to tight,.. but i thought id better ask on here coz if anyone knows one of you will , I…

Hi, Prospective new member here, depending on the replies to the question heheheh I have been offered a 1989 FZR 600 by a neighbor of mine for a very paltry sum that i'm considering turning into a track bike. It's been sitting for quite some time as the previous owner blew the engine, then got a replacement (with no history) but never fitted it. Anything specific I should look into in the "new" engine?? How reliable are the FZR 600's motors? I know i'm gonna have to clean carbs, replace fork seals, gaskets, sprokets, chain etc but i'm a bit wary of an engine with absolutely no history..... thanks!

Hi all, I am currently rebuilding (rescuing) a 93 (ish) TZR125R Belgarda but am really struggling to find any official / Haynes etc type workshop info. I know that they were built in Italy and are most popular in Germany but its a nightmare to find any technical info out Cheers!

Hi folx I am a first time Yamaha owner. Passed my test last week after doing the commuter thing on a Suzuki VL 125 for the last year.... I am currently getting to grips with a 1992 FZR 600 Genesis....Possibly not the most sensible choice for a first big bike, but now I am getting used the phenomenal acceleration and persuading her to do low speeds without sneaking up to something she is more comfortable with I am becoming more commited to her... I am worried about my wife finding out about my new relationship tho...

Can anyone tell me where to get stainless steel downpipes for my FZR (95 model)? The ones on my bike broke again yesterday, don't think they can take much more welding to hold them together! Used to see them regularly on ebay but can't find them now I need some. Thanks Dai

I finnished work an hour earlier than last week. So I decided to go for a ride on the bike, I ended up in Cardiff. Ok there seems nothing wrong there, but when you consider I was looking at the Castle at midnight? I just fancied going for a ride and the bike sounds great threw the Bryn Glas tunnel. The good thing is that bikes don`t ay to go over the second severn crossing either. What a joy it was hardly any traffic and not many people in the centre of Cardiff, just mostly Taxi`s.

Hi everyone, A couple of weeks ago I tested a R6, and had the bike for an hour. I went threw Bristol and up the motorway, on to the ring road and threw the outskirts to get every sort of road avalible. I thouroughly enjoyed the ride. The only niggle I had was that there wasn`t a fuel gauge only a warning light, but thats not a great problem. So today I have been out tyre kicking today. There was something in the back of my mind saying "test something else just to make sure you don`t make a mistake of ordering a bike that is not best suited in the class for me, taking in comfort and usability and everything else." You can`t really buy a bike becuse it`s the …
