tanked up the TDM yesterday and went for a fast ride up to Devils bridge in the lakes. I didn't hang around and that lovely torque had me passed a longer line of cars than I though possible, nudging 110 in some parts. One thing with all this behaviour, it tests the suspension on the twisties and sups fuel. I usually get 210 miles to a full tank, well yesterday I got 180. whats the big deal? I now know which position the reserve tap points to as I ran out at Rivvington on the Bolton road. Bollocks! Phoned the missus to bring me some fuel, and she said after I've finished work ( another hour) so i waited and waited, 4 hours later she turns up…

Anybody going to the BMAD bike festival that's on at Paignton this weekend? Starts tonight (Friday 3rd May) and finishes on Monday, there's usually a big turnout of bikes, with plenty of stuff going on till late. http://www.bmad.co.uk/festival.html

Anyone on here going to the BMF tomorrow hubby and i are travelling over about 7am hopefully the weather is kind to us on the way but by the sounds of it it will be on and off rain. We are staying in a hotel as its going to be that wet and it was cheaper than camping

Ladies & Gents, Knobblies on behalf of Spinal Research will be taking a rideout from Boxhill over to Sammy Miller's Museum on Saturday, 20th September. We'll be meeting up at 9.00am at Boxhill, have a coffee (or brekkie for those that want it) and then leaving at 10 am with an ETA of 12.00 at the museum. Cost is £15 for a single rider or £20 for rider + pillion. This will get you entry into the museum and also gives a donation to the charity. Lunch is being arranged at the museum - hopefully a barbecue (weather permitting), which people can pay for directly to museum staff. There is also a tearoom and various other facilities there.
