went to VJMC lymm show today and met up with OT. good weather and as a brucie bonus got 3rd best Yamaha award. got a bit wet on the last mile to home, so i didn't timed it quite right saw a silver Saxon bike, this Silver Saxon turbo was manufactured by the top 70's tuning company S+S Performance, and is a prototype/development bike they used to try and crack 200mph back in 1977. The bike was sold to the heavy metal rock band Saxon, who used it as a stage prop in the early 80's. The bike delivers anything between 215 and 300bhp http://authortech.net/bikesite/Pages/Wil%20pages/saxon1.html for more info

I have been in the Bristol area for 4 years now and havent made it along to the Weston Bike nights yet. So tomorrow we have organised a group ride out from Bristol to Weston for the bike night. Any one else thinking of heading along? We are heading along this route from Filton, and down Bristol Portway onto the A370. We will be setting off from Filton at 6pm, probably pass under the Clifton suspension bridge about 6:15. If anyone wants to join us feel free to catch us on route shown in the map. Lookout for an orange KTM supermoto and a FZ6: Google Maps Link Flyer for the event here: http://westonbikenight.rblr.co.uk/photos/2013/docs/WBNFlyer13.jpg

I've got round the wife and am now planning a trip to ride to one of the GP races this year, but which one? I've never been to a round outside of the UK so Assen is my 1st choice, not sure why but it looks a nice ride and is a great circuit but I could be persuaded to go to Le Mans or other European rounds, any advice as to which are the better ones ? The Wirral Egg run is this Sunday 28th March 2010, Starts at 11.00am from New Brighton front and finishes at Claterbridge 45 ish minutes later, fun day out and a nice leisurely ride especially if you have a nervous pillion passenger! I would suggest you get to New Brighton well before 11.00 as there are other things going on plus it fills up early. I have riden it for a few years now and would recommend it because it raises money for local children. See you all there!

Anyone around? Maybe go for a drink (soft) and a ride sometime? Only been riding for 10 months (from CBT through to passing and having a 600), would be new to riding around places other than my daily journey to work.
