Alan Duffus motorcycles of Kirkcaldy has organised the fourth annual memorial run to Denholm the birth place of a great Scottish motorcycle racer who was tragiclly killed in a helicopter crash in 2003. Check out the following link to see the organised run meeting places and please feel free to join in it would make a great run north for some of our friends in England to some of our countries great borders bike roads. I ran my FZ6N down the quarter mile for the very first time in my life yesterday ... and I got the following ... I'm based in Hastings but, having spent an hour trying to ride to the seafront where the May Day festivities were going on, I took the TDM across to Kent for what turned out to be a looooooooong old ride. There didn't seem to be anything particular going on on Hastings seafront, other than the annual Jack in the Green Morris men lookalike festival. As far as bike-related stuff was concerned, Hastings just turned into one huge bike park/police traffic control nightmare. Unless anyone knows differently, of course. The Dyfed-Powys police in their wisdom cancelled the Welsh Motorcycle show at the Royal Welsh Showground this year (2008) with the paranoia that there may be some throwback from the death of the Hells Angel member on the way back from the Bulldog bash last year. This has no substance whatsoever, and many bikers are making the annual run to Builth Wells this year as usual, this is in support of the rally and also to support the local businesses who have already forked out the cash to stock up ready for the peaceful annual event.
