Hi there, My brother has just given me a 1999 yamaha R6, as i have a 2006 R6 already I want to turn this 1999 R6 into a track bike. I've never been on the track before as I've been to afiard to take my own bike on track, but now I've got this older bike at my disposal the sky's the limit. I know it's my brothers bike but he's gone and lost the V5 For it, would this be a problem? Also I've never done this before and have little money so any tips from you pro's out there would be greatlly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read, please reply if you can.

A little idea that we have been working on. Web Riders The place for the Internet Rideout for Motorcyclists On any weekend the roads are full of motorcyclists riding alone for the pure pleasure of the ride. Even though they have enjoyed the ride the end result can be unsatifactory because the ride was aimless. This is one of the major draw backs with riding alone. The Idea..... Every Saturday or Sunday or weekend will be the time for a run. Every run starts when you want and from your home. Every run goes wherever you want. It can be just a ride with NO actual destination It can be 10 miles or 100 miles. It can be alone or with a mate, or ar…

  9. Hey guys, This weekend I’m taking part in the Iron Butt Association’s RBLR 1000 ride. It’s a charitable version of their SaddleSore 1000. Basically completing a 1000 ride within 24 hours. I’ll be camping at Squires on the Friday night then leaving bright and early Saturday morning. I’ve chosen the Northern Clockwise route (there are 6 to choose from). That’ll take me from Squires towards Manchester then North past Carlisle, Glasgow and Fort William before crossing over to Wick. I’ll then head back to Squires via Edinburgh and Newcastle. The charity in question is the Royal British Legion and I’ve been asked to raise just £50. I signed up to do this even very last mi…

  12. yes I know this years TT hasn't started yet but after a bit of interest shown on another thread I thought I'd post this here to see if anyone else fancied it for next year. race week starts 30th may. You would have to book early if your taking your bike, I booked in Jan for this year just for start of practice week and had to sail from Heysham co's Liverpool was booked solid I'm definitely going, may only be another long weekend, hopfully longer will have to wait and see saw a campsite that looked ideal while I was there http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=5086 cost me about £150 for 2 adults + the bike return on ferry camping is about £10 …

  19. Hi All Just been told by Mrs R that John Reynolds has agreed to ride the Egg Run this year and help us out a bit. Should be up for some photo's and autographs with any luck. Also, we now have a dedicated website for the Nottinghamshire Motorcycle Easter Egg Run so please go to www.eastereggrun.com for further details. This is a new site so if it's not picked up by your search engine (Google etc) please just type it into your address bar and it will take you to it. It's so new some search engines haven't found it yet. Failing that please contact [email protected] and I'll send you details electronically. Hope to see you there. Regards Tim
