Went with a couple of local guys to Stafford today. though the weather was nice but it started raining heavily on the way back. Still enjoyed myself and spent about 5 hours there some photos; xs/tx500 Bond Norton from "Spectre" very nice TRX850 1945 triumph concept, looks great Guy Martin's wall of death trident Metchamex TZRD 350 reverse Cylinder Metchamex reverse and normal cyl prototype

Met with Tommy XS this avvo, as its a nice cold sunny day. We went over the new Runcorn Bridge which was quite impressive IMHO Saw this little Austin 7 sprinter, road legal (in 1930's) my hands were a bit cold on the ride so I just turned up the heated grips to 75% , poor Tommy didn't have any and his bladder complained in sympathy. warming ourselves with chips

had a great day out today, weather was kind and warm just before set off at the meeting point met a few Rivvy bikers there too got home around 2pm

Went to the Rivvy Easter egg run today. Had a great time, i got there really early but I needn't have worried as I met loads of peeps who were friendly and god for a chat. Went for a brew at the bottom Barn first and there was the Prototype CCM Scrambler built around the Spitfire chassis. Talked to a couple of lads nearby and it turns out he is the designer and gave me the full tour of the bike. had to take a picky of mine too seeing as its the first time with the new 17" wheel and Michelin P5 tracks lovely now as more weight is on the front. I even met another TDM owner who invited me to his pub in Farnworth

planning a route to Germany and the black forest. does anyone have must see places to visit/stay on the way there. Was thinking going into Italy for the passes too. Got 10 days and landing in Zeebrugge or Rotterdam via Hull ferry cheers

May 6th Saturday Arrive about 12ish Camp 1 night Staying at: The Bruce Arms (pub + camp) leave for home Sunday Anyone fancy joining me for this. So it takes me 2 hours to get there,,, set up camp,,,chill for a bit,,,eat,,, then I'm going for a 2 hour ride in a loop. (This could be longer but depends how tired my daughter is). I myself would ride around all day. Then back to camp, eat more and have a few pints. Sunday leave for home but in doing so will be spending the day heading through the Chiltern Hills AONB. Really I'm just introducing my daughter to what a bike trip is like. The length of time touring around could be longer (hopefully)…

I've got round the wife and am now planning a trip to ride to one of the GP races this year, but which one? I've never been to a round outside of the UK so Assen is my 1st choice, not sure why but it looks a nice ride and is a great circuit but I could be persuaded to go to Le Mans or other European rounds, any advice as to which are the better ones ? Hi All If anyone is in South Wales in July, we are going to run a charity ride in aid of the Welsh Air Ambulance. The date will be the 20th July 2008 and the meeting place will be Thunder Road Motorcycles in Bridgend (just West of Cardiff). I'll post more details on here when we have it (route, times, etc). The plan is just to take a donation from riders which will go directly to the Air Ambulance as they are run solely from donations. A few people are organising it voluntarily so there will be no money taken out. Thunder Road are providing the posters we will use at their own cost and are also providing free tea and coffe to riders. If anyone is interested…

Oakley MCC is doing a club run at a leasurely pace to Hunstanton on Saturday 6/9. (meeting near BEDFORD. Was planning on meeting the rest of the crew up there but wanting to get a bit more "progressive" . anyone about for a day at the seaside and a nice fish dinner?? Will fix a meet and have a blast out if your up for it.

Hiya all.... Anyone going to the Day of Champions thingy at Donington Park Thursday 23rd July?? Riders for Health auction too... We are considering the 'Ride In option'...meet, 2 laps round Mallory, Breakfast, 2 laps round Donny, Access All Areas into Pit / Paddocks / MotoGP riders all for £50!....sounds like a plan Id say... Anyone done that before? Any comments?
