I was looking at pics of the bike and i couldn't figure out what this big red this is. It's big and red so it must be important. My guess is something to do with turing around cause of the circle, i dont think bikes have windscreen wipers, indicators are on the left, so's the horn. My only decent guess would be traction control, but i dont think it has that. There's even another one down below, small and black so not as important, but it's got the loop over thing again.

Driving home from work this morning (yeah I was in the car) deserted road, 30 mph limit and I'm doing about 40. A car comes hurtling up behind me so I slow down. suddenly there's these blue flashing lights in me mirrors. I pull up at the side of the road and wind the window down. Officer asks me why he pulled me up so I said I didn't know. He informed me that I was doing 50 mph and he had to get a shift on to catch me up! He asked me my name to check ownership of car, asked me if I'd been drinking (I hadn't), told him I was on me way home from work - he asked me where I worked and I told him. He let me go - no ticket or nothing. Same scenario but with a camera 40 m…

Hey all - my name is Dave and I just aquired a 1991 Yamaha XJ600s "Seca II" w/ 2800 miles. It's been in storage for a while - needs a carb clean and going over. It's my #2 bike - as I've restored a 1983 Suzuki GR650 that is my daily rider. I'm looking at the "Seca II" as my budget sport tourer, and will get a set of soft bags for it after it's running - and do some extended trips next year. Anyway - great to find the club...will scout around for info on my new bike. Dave

as im turning 17 in may (ages i know but had my bike i have now before this time last year) i have chosen to get another bike instead of a car don't ask wjhy but hey. my dad and brother in law (both bikers) have a crazy idea of me getting a 600 as then i can keep it longer and it will last me. anything more and i think it would be stupid really. also as most 600's are fairly small ish. im used to the weight as my tzr is a very big and weighty machine. have also ridden larger bikes. is it a stupid idea? i wanted to know what you people thought and any tips really. want to know the field before buying so that i no ive made the right choice and won't regret it. i …
