Evenin' all! I is new here, so thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. Am from the Bristol area, been here for about 6 weeks, originally from London. I ride a 07 R1. was in storage down at my mums in London while I settled down in Bristol. Picked it up on Saturday. The roads around here are stunning, compared to londons traffic jams! Any good riding roads, biker hangouts any1 can recomend? Hope to catch up with you guys soon!

Have recently bought an 07 XT125R but when riding in moving traffic it lacks abit of topend speed. Am looking to sit test before October but am wondering how to get a few more HP out of it to keep up with moving traffic. Any ideas greatly received.

  4. A guy goes into a seafood restaurant and asks to see the dishes of the day. The waiter wheels over a trolley and the man examines the dishes. "I'll have the little green squid with the hairy lip, please" says the man. "O.K." replies the waiter and calls out "Gervais!" A little French chef appears with a large knife, the waiter instructs the chef to kill the little green squid with the hairy lip. Gervais is just about to slice at the poor squid when he notices a tear running down its face. Gervais is touched, and admits that he hasn't the heart to kill the squid. "Not to worry" says the waiter, and calls out "Hans!!" at which an enormous German bloke co…

Hi Guys and Gals New member here. Novice bike rider with a 2001 Thundercat. Although I'd always wanted one I had never been on a bike, even as a passenger, until couple of years ago when I bought my Thundercat with a view that, if the bike was there it'd give me motivation to sit my test. I hadn't even sat on the bike before buying it to see if my short legs would reach the black stuff . Passed my direct access but haven't really had much time on the bike so confidence is still low. Poor I know. So hoping to get some miles under my belt this summer and get to grips with this motorbiking lark !

Long time lurker here... Love my Thundercat - great bike for commuting and the odd blat out into the countryside. However I have noticed over the last couple of days a very distinct knock has developed from somewhere near the middle/back of the bike, think it is only noticeable in 3rd gear - dont get much change to push it into 4th around town on the commute so cant be sure if its in all gears. Its a very rythmic knocking, speeds up with the bike and is slightly less noticeable as speed generates - possibly not enough revs?? Though never had the problem/not noticed it in nearly a year so far. Can feel the knock very low down, as said it feels as though its toward…

Hey there, I'm new to this site so please forgive me if I screw up this posting. I have just purchased a 1986 radian with aprox 27,000 miles on it, it runs great and pulls hard but it has a knocking sound coming from the engine when at idle when cold. once it warms up and is at proper idle speed the knock goes away. You can aslo make the sound go away when cold if you give it just a little gas to bring the idle up. Does anybody have any ideas about the cause of this noise, I was thinking maybe timing chain slap or maybe low oil pressure, although the oil light does not come on? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im wondering on how to go about using glitter and spray paint cans for my aerox panels. i have red glitter flakes that look the nuts, and the panels will be black so it would be red glitter on black.. but my question is.... Does anyone know what the best way to go about this is?? or has anyone tried it before with good or pony results ? like black on first, then glitter on so it sticks to the sticky paint then layers of laquer? im not sure on this... i need to paint it on the cheapish side of things hence spray cans,so i can then sell it to fund something else with a turbo as im quite broke at the mo :\ but any help or advice will be brilliant thanks.

Hi, I've not been a member of the biking world that often so please excuse my lack of knowledge. I have been riding a Yamaha R-125 for around six months and passed my full direct access test Friday just gone. Having riden a 125 at 16 and a half stone i don't really get very far very quickly. In a spur of the moment i've put my bike up for sale and have had an offer from a dealer to part ex for a 2003 R6. It comes next Wednesday and was wondering if there are some tips you guys could give me as it is going to be an extreme jump from a 125 to an R6. I did my test on a 500cc but i know that will be nothing compaired to the power i will have at my discposal and a…

My pride and joy was taken from the driveway outside my house at the weekend. I'm only 17, just left school and only 3rd party insurance so absolutly gutted. It is a 57 plate, originally blue/white but with the tank side covers and front mudguard painted black and the seat vinyl replaced with black so fairly distinctive. A good tidy looking bike. DEP silencer but original expansion pipe. I know I will probably never see it again but I will pay a reward if anyone can help me get it back. Thanks Billy

All being well, I'll be there next Saturday and I cant wait! Fingers crossed I don't have a repeat of last years fiasco where we sat on a plane for hours waiting for snow to clear - never did get off the ground
