Hi all, I've had my lovely YZF for 13 years now, but the time has come when knees, elbows and neck have almost given up. I'm not selling her, so what are the best mods for turning her into a streetfighter? She's already got a jacked back end, thanks to a Penske shock and 10mm dropped front forks, Harris rearsets and a loverly Akro pipe, but hwat do I need to do with the bars? How do I hide the electrics? What lights do I use? So many questions, and I really dont know where to start! Cheers in advance for any help, comments, insults, mickey taking, etc.

Greetings. I hope someone out there can assist. Does anyone have the gear ratios for the YZF750R 6-speed transmission? I actually have two YZF1000R engines, one with the standard 5-speed, the other with the 6-speed from the YZF750R. While I'm looking for the ratios for all gears, the final gear (6th) is the most important as I am trying to calculate top speed when using different gearing combinations on the rear end, and without the gear ratio data I am stuck. Thanks very much in advance for the assist. John

Right, the dreaded seizing EXUP valve (now unseized), has caused the EXUP cables to fray badly at the EXUP valve end. I know that the part numbers`and descriptions are as follows:~ i) 4FM-1133E-00-00 cable pulley 1 & ii) 4FM-1133F-00-00 cable pulley 2 iii) £45 each (cant rememeber if that's inc or + VAT, but still too much too pay for 2x cables) EXHAUST Yamaha YZF750RF 1994 OEM Parts - Cheap Cycle PartsEXHAUST Yamaha YZF750RF 1994 OEM Parts - Cheap Cycle Parts www.cheapcycleparts.com › OEM Parts › Yamaha › 1994 I have read on a forum topic somewhere else on this site that the inner length is about 620mm & the`outer is approx 445mm. Hi guys, Got a 1996 YZF750R, FSH, and mint condition. The other day it started making a very slight knocking noise at certain revs. I have had the bike 2 months and it has never done it before. I had done a lot of riding that day and it was warm, and had been topped up with oil as well, as it drinks oil like a 2 stroke. It's not a loud knocking and I am not too worried, but would like to know if anybody has any ideas about what it could be. It was not doing it before I added the oil, and I am inclined to think it has something to do with the amount of riding done and the oil. As a precaution I have changed the oil completely since. Does anybody know wh…

Hi guys, im sorry if this post isn't supposed to be here, but right now I just sat down with a beer trying to figure what the hell is going on with my yamaha. Ive had issues from day focking 1 with this bike and today the damn bike broke down on me after sitting in the sun for a few hours (it was quite hot). I rode it to work this morning, no problems, rode home, no problems. Since the weather were good I left it outside while eating dinner, but when I was ready to set off, it fired up like normal, but died pretty quick. Id say it ran for about 5 sec and then died. She did NOT want to start after that, and it didn't prime the fuel pump when I turned on the ignition …
