Hi guys, I have a Yamaha XJ6N 2009. I changed the OEM exhaust. Now I need to eliminate the oxygen sensor. Can someone help me? I have 4 wires. 2 white, 1 black and 1 gray. I think it's necessary to connect a 330ohm resistor between the black and the gray wire. And another 1Mohm resistor between the two whites. Or is only a 330ohms resistance between the black and gray wire enough? Thank you for your help.

So, as I may (or may not) have said, I've just moved house... I went to the MAG website to change my details but couldn't find either a 'login' option or an 'account' option. Am I missing something obvious or is the only way to change your personal details with them is to phone them?

Hi all, quick question if I may: My YBR has a noisy knocking engine and so I have a spare to swap with it missing only the alternator coil but it has the flywheel/magneto rotor. so I put the swap engine in and used my original coil and cover from the first engine. Im getting ok compression 80ish so i think the valves need cleaning up but I am also getting error 46 about power supply to Fuel injection. Can i assume the flywheel/magneto rotor on the swap engine is bad? I cant see what else has changed...

{{if $formValue}} {$value} {{endif}} The new generation Deltabox-style frame is a perfect example of how the XSR900 blends Yamaha heritage design with the latest road sports technology like nothing else. 40 years ago Yamaha was the first manufacturer to move away from the conventional tubular frame and develop what was then a controversial Deltabox design. With many wins to its credit, the Deltabox frame design proved its superiority beyond doubt. The new XSR900 now features a radically improved Deltabox chassis. Other key features such as the muscular fuel tank and vented body panels provide a purposeful design with an absence of …

Nope, that isn't a typing error in the title! I've just found a Thunderace for sale with less than 200 miles on it!!! https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/1996-yamaha-yzf1000r-thunderace-thunderace-sports-tourer-petrol-manual/1418957595?utm_source=newsnow.co.uk It's not pristine, hasn't been dropped, but has some damage on it (I assume from being leaned against stuff). Not that I have £3,500 spare, but I'm curious..: 1/ Would you be looking at a full engine strip? 2/ Other than all the rubbers replacing, what other problems would you expect from a bike that has basically never run for 25 years? 3/ Why do people buy bikes…

Apologies if this topic already exists but I’m a newbie and couldn’t find a search facility. I’m looking for replacement side covers L and R. The model year is 1982 ie drum brakes front and rear. Any suggestion I’d happily subscribe if this works 😀

  18. Hello everyone, I have 2008 Yamaha Zuma 49cc 2-stroke that is having issues starting. I have spark, fuel (fresh gas) is flowing through the line when I suck on the vac line, but my compression is pretty low, 70 psi. I will crank the engine 7 or 8 times, my compression tester will reach around 70 psi, then I will hear a slight release of pressure and the pressure on the gauge will slowly bleed down. I'm performing the test with the carburetor off, reed valve (new reed valve assembly) cage installed. Any ideas on what to check next? Thanks

Hi all new to site hopefully your put me right. Have had my TDR 5yrs have stripped the seized wreck and rebuilt whole bike past 3yrs. I now have it running sweet on premix on the bench. I took photos as stripped but cannot detect where vac to fuel cock pipe goes. Have done away with water supply for icing so these in/out let's are redundant. Cannot feel a suction on other port either left or right carb. Can anyone send a few snaps of their plumbing around the carbs. Thanks

I am renovating a '77 DT250MX which was one of just 450 specials supplied to the Danish army. It has uprated front forks and an extended fuel tank as you can see from the picture. I have been able to source most parts that I need but two items are yet to be found, namely a complete exhaust system and the side cover for the airbox which when it is available is at an astronomical price due probably to their scarcity. So I have decided to try and make one. I have the air filter end cover which is held onto the airbox with 3 screws but what I need is a clear picture showing how the outer cover is attached to this inner cover. It looks as if it was with some so…
