Hi all , i'm Rob , just joined up a moment ago as i've just bought a old 1987 fz600 off of ebay (i mean literally just bought it , not even picked it up yet) , so thought i would have a gander and see what its like on here , and if any one has a bit of knowledge of the fz600 i.e. common faults and problems to watch for , any advice would be very much appreciated .

Hi people! On a whim I bought an FZ400RL from a friend a few(!) years back. At the time it was a bit silly coz I didn't even have my full bike licence. Anyhoo, got that in 2002, but due to life's unexpected twists and turns it never got on the road. Though out of boredom I did strip it down, spray and rebuild it, replacing a fork as necessary in the meantime. Now I've managed to dig it out of it's corner in the garage and spend some time on it. It's fully ready for it's MOT and looking less shabby than it did. But it keeps cutting out. Starts - no problem, sounds good. Ticks over quite happily. Goes out riding nicely. BUT after about ½-¾ mile, just when s…

hello everybody just the other day my DT125R developed a rather nasty habbit... it splutters, back fires and pops somin terrible through all gears, reaching a top speed of 45 compared to its origional 85! :'( the power valve still workes but its only amplifies the issue, to me this sounded like a delivery issue so here is what i have tried so far, carb float bowl and jets cleaned powervalve cleaned air filter cleaned fuel lines examined yet the bike remains to run like a complete bag of shite, iv had the bike for 4 months and have had endless problems but iv always managed to fix them but this one really has me stumped... it starts and runs fine…

I have an '85 yfm 80. somethings wrong with the steering somewhere and it wont turn sharp at all. i mean, i have a bayou that turns sharper than this thing. i know that it should make tighter turns than it does because ive ridden one very similar to it (same make and model) and it was the tightest turning quad iv ever ridden. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

A quick question for you all.... Just how private are PM's ?? i.e. can admin and moderators, if they have need to and just cause, view (undetected to the adressee) the contents of a PM ? It's nothing to do with this board but another one powered by the same software. Cyber - evesdropping - what's next ? Thanks - J

  14. Well peeps, im starting this thread early as i will be working over xmas and away shortly in the new year. at the moment it looks like the calenders are coming from vistaprint and will cost around £10 for a wall calender or £6 for a desk calender, if you order any other YOC merchandise at the same time you will get a postage discount (please pm with your requirements and i can get you a quote). postage overseas or to islands will cost more. i may be able to find a local company who is able to do it cheaper although i cant tell for sure probably until the new year VOTING: now, here's how it works, at the top of the page you will see a poll (once artwork has bee…

Thinking of having cloth patches made of the YOC. The patch would be something like my current avatar @ 75mm diameter. Min order is 50 and would only be solid colours as the way the embroidery goes. if enough interested i would go ahead. for usa I would prefer a single contact to send a package over (would be cheaper anyways) payment through paypal methinks. cost £3 plus post and packing drewps
