with all the negative things being said about all the MPs at the minute (poor souls), if i was to run for parliment here is my election campaign: WHISTLEBLOWING: get elected and tell the world about the corruption that goes on by our Right Honourable members. CRIME: when given a jail sentence that sentence must be served in full; that means you dont get out for good behavior your in there for bad behavior! PRISON OVERCROWDING: simple, if the cell holds 2 CRIMINALS at the moment then you can put six in it . 2 are asleep, 2 are watching telly in a big hall (no tv in the cell) and the other 2 are lifting litter/scraping chewing gum from pavements while chained toget…

set off at 4pm to meet with a friend at Tebay. as its bedlam on the motorway (and shit) we head down the A6 and join M'way at preston, boring ZZZZ here's my bike set and ready damn windy out there and when we reach tebay, my Mike (cb750F1) was complaining of weaving on the truck ruts, i had no problems. When in Tebay and waiting for Dave (VFR750) I noticed either Mike's back wheel was in a dip or he had a flat, guess what, it was a flat. Mike was real pissed off. Dave turned up and we went round the carpark to find someone to lend us a pump as we could'nt find any puncture. eventually we gave up and Mike called the rescue. …

hi. im hoping someone can help me with a little, well a hope little problem i have with my r1 on a 98 year. the rev counter when i start the bike works fine but after about 3 mins it starts doing what it wants, the rev counter flicks up to 4 to 8 rpm then just drops down to zero, it is very anoying but i supose i can deal with it if its going to cost me a fortune, but if there is a fix then i will give it a go, i have a haynes manual for it so will give it a go if any off you can help me.. like i said, the rev counter just seems to have a mind of its own to be honest, flicking up and down from 0 rpm to 8rpm then drops and flies back up again,, also my trip isnt working pr…

My 2005 Yamaha XT125X in red Reg, PO55 CUV was stolen from Hale Village (in between Widnes, Cheshire and Speke, Merseyside) It was parked on the drive of my girlfriends sisters house, right underneath the living room window where I was sat. I was only at the house for under 3 hours and didn't hear a noise or see anything, there isn't even any cctv from the pub across the road. Gutted.

Morning all, I am new, both to the forum and also motorcycling. Apologies if this has been covered before, but just wanted some information from seasoned riders. I got myself a Yamaha YBR 125 Custom in June this year after passing my CBT. This was mainly to commute to work, when breaking it in I was using country lanes (summer was decent, dry weather) so it was great fun. When I broke it in and the weather got worse I started using the A2 road (4 lane A road, practically a motorway in Kent) Here's my question. I appreciate it's a small bike, but the wind really seems to effect my ride. Even at 10mph or so. But when I see other guys (even on 125's Maurader) it doesn'…

  12. I'm off on a bit of a rant here so bear with me Whilst I know many people have experience on their bikes and can work on them I find it amazing when people seem to just sit there and just say "it won't go" and alot of my friends who have problems who have no experience are totally reluctant to go and get their bikes fixed and I can accept were 16 and have little money but still is it not true that we can't afford to cut corners and bodge everything so that our bikes are being held together by duct tape (which one of my friends bikes is) this issue just seems to keep coming to light and I would like to know why so many people are just so reluctant to ask for help? Is…

Don't you hate it when you haven't been a able to ride for a while, and you have a day with nice weather, but you go out to start the bike...dead battery. There are downsides to having a security system on your bike.

i was welding Friday morning and my new mask was too dark for me to see to start the arc properly, so like a dick i was starting my welds off with no eye protection. thought i had got away with it but 10 hours after i had finished my eyes started to hurt like mad and the whites turned red like in a warewolf film. ended up at moorfields eye hospital in london with burnt corneas, just starting to get my sight back today. just thought i would post this to give you all a laugh and perhaps stop someone else being as stupid.

  19. Hi to all, I had a search of the forum but couldn't find a specific answer - so thought i'd post and see if anyone had experience of adding a toth the the front sprocket of the YBR 125. This is my first post. I've an 07 YBR 125 and am considering getting 1 tooth extra front sprocket. This is to try to increase the top end (hoping for 5mph extra - where wind isn't against me). I'm also hoping that it will allow me to go a bit faster in the lower gears. for example, at 40mph i'm very comfortably in the top gear. With an extra tooth on the front I'd like to be able to use 4th instead. The same applies for most of the lower gears. So, here are my questions. Does anyo…
