Hi there, I've recently bought a XT 600E 1991 and it needs some work. The wheels need sorting, both need respoking. I've looked into doing this myself but it seems time consuming and difficult without the right tools and patience. So i was wondering if there was a set of wheels (non spoked) that could fit straight on with minimum fuss? The price to send them away to get them done is ridiculous and so is the price of replacement spokes. Is there another way? Cheers

Going to be saying goodbye to my trusty wee Fazer 600 which I've thoroughly enjoyed throughout the even more satisfying 2 year restricted cc period (yeah, right) which is now over . I commute daily and use my bike when out visiting patients as part of my job. I really like the look of the TDM 900 as both a daily sommuter and occasional tourer. Was just keen to hear any thoughts on the bike as I'm unfamiliar with it and whether you'd recommend any accessories to enhance the experience ?? As always, cheers in advance

Hey guys So my RH indicators flashing faster than my left.. heres what i did. * Replaced Indicators altogether - RH side still Blinking faster * Intermittently when I use the Hazzard lights (both LH & RH flash in unison) it shorts my indicating system and i have to restart my bike to fix it. * If the Hazards don't short out both the LH & RH blink at the correct speed when using the hazards.. Any ideas???

Hi guys. I got my YBR a few weeks ago and am currently fitting an alarm to it. I've got the basics working, ie, it's alarmed, but it also works as an immobiliser and thats where I'm struggling. I need to identify where to connect the wires around the ignition fuse and input trigger on the start relay If anyone thinks they can help, please give me a shout and I'll supply photo's, circuit diagrams and alarm manufacturers instructions. I cant get my head round it.. Thanks in Advance Si

Hi there, Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question. I have a 2001/ 02 Fazer FZS 600, will the brake discs of a 2006 Fazer fit and work on a 2001/ 02 Fazer. Just looking around at some of the prices and there seems to be some good deals on 2006 discs. Thanks in advance for any help. Dave

  12. Hi As anyone thought or attempted to use the front and rear sprocket from a YZF R125 and put them in a WR125X. If so what was the end result?

Hi all im looking to see if any of you folk can tell me your choice of tyres for this bike. At the moment it has bridgestones on it and i do like the bridgestones as i have always had them on the sports bikes but im wondering if there is maybe a better choice for this bike. Also has anybody ever heard of putting bigger tyres on this bike, I know your not supposed to mess with the tyre sizes but just wondered.

  14. Recently been to my local bike shop Lagunas Maidstone and ordered a Leo Vince slip on exhaust and K n N airfilter . wow a sound difference and the Air filter has made a few ggs . All my other motor cycle mates have loud exhausts and made mine seem like an electric bike. however didnt want to void Warrenty so put the slip on ON , and its made my bike Bark. I ts my first bike and Im realy pleased with performance and looks although ive had a tail tidy fitted, the belly pan sprayed the same colour as bike, Reflectivewhite tapes on wheels. as soon as i can get either video or photo s uploaded I will , Ive not seen many XJ6 n s in Maidstone.

Just seen a BEAUTIFUL bike and thought id share, as I cant afford it anyway. Went to a little breakers in Herne Bay, and he has a Virago 750 that hes restored, he showed me pics of the state it was in when it came in, and hes done an amazing job. If anyone is down that way, worth a look. Just to make clear, this is not a selling post, I have nothing to do with the sale or the seller - was just too good not to share!

  20. Hey guys - if you've got a loose gear level, kick start etc do yourself a huge favour and tighten it up correctly before you ride again. If you strip a spline on an engine/gearbox shaft get ready for a nasty ££ surprise and a load of agro . Some of you may have seen or even bought a bike where the problem has been 'fixed'/bodged' by welding the lever to the shaft - the problem then gets worse when there's an engine casing that needs to come off. My old TY had a loose gearlever because it couldn't be tightened up anymore as the pinch gap the alan screw tightens had fully closed. This is an aftermarket lever - not uncommon on off road bikes as its one of the…
